Very relaxed, nice friendly atmosphere. Yes, I agree with other reviewees that the service is long, but this is only because the food is made fresh and the place is very popular.
It is a truly amazing place and I hope that everyone who has frequented there and has worked/ is working there knows how special a place it is.
Strongly recommend going time and time and time again!

This is our second time visiting, first time was very disappointing but we could tell they were busy and understaffed so we came back today for breakfast as it?s our local cafe since moving and we?d like to support but the service was slow, we were warned it would be a 20min wait. Again they seem understaffed but the wait superseded 20mins but almost double. My avo toast was mostly brown avo, tasted bad and looked sad. My partners cooked breakfast was served with a shrivelled sausage which looked cheap. Surprised not to see a Braughin sausage. Staff seem to be really stressed and in a fluster. I don?t think we?ll give this a third chance, sad that instead of walking here we?ll have to drive back to Stortford to get a nice cafe experience and breakfast.

Lovely cafe i've had the full english several times. It's mostly excellent produce especially the delicious steaky bacon but the sausages unfortunately are the cheap frozen kind which on a £12 breakfast i'd expect a decent local one (maybe even use the Braughing brand up the road!)

I went to this coffee shop during the weekend and the experience i got was disappointing. Firstly, the food took longer to come than 2 coffees, secondly, they didn?t give me what i wanted when i ordered, i ordered a honeycomb rocky road and got a honey nut crunch and i don?t like nuts. The service was average for a coffee shop so nothing special. Overall wouldn?t recommend this unless something changes.

Delicious food, amazing staff - this place was BUSY at noon on a Monday, and the girls were kind and quick with their service. My boyfriend and I are visiting from New York, and he was dying for a full English. We got two large cappuccinos, the Classic and the coffee shop breakfast (their take on the English breakfast) and the food was SO much better than we expected. Great coffee as well. A gem!

Love this little coffee shop, but a little let down in my recent visit.
The food is always really delicious but on this occasion my toast was cold and the butter was incredibly hard to spread, and my two poached eggs came fully cooked and hard, not runny at all. I didn?t want to send the food back though as they were busy and I do sympathise with that and don?t want to cause any grief. My pecan pie was delectable however, no faults there at all.
Their drinks are superb, there?s always a generous amount of cream on the hot chocolates which is my go to drink, but my hot chocolate this time around was not hot enough for my liking and was missing an extra little chocolate garnish on the top which was part of the drink (it wasn?t a regular hot chocolate it was meant to be the special bueno style one). If I can drink the whole mug in under 2 minutes then it?s too mild in my opinion! ;)
The staff are lovely but come across as overworked or tired and sometimes are very slow to greet customers or acknowledge them. I completely understand that it?s the busiest coffee shop in Buntingford, but you have to make customers feel welcomed and I felt a little bit unwelcome. My boyfriend was stood waiting to be served for about 5 minutes which was a bit silly. The ladies behind the counter - two of them were preoccupied with writing an order and the other making a coffee, all it takes is a quick ?I?ll be with you in a moment? or ?what are you after?? Just to get the ball rolling.
I really love the mugs in there and the decor, but felt a bit snug at times. But once you?re sat it?s actually quite cosy, can get quite loud and overwhelming though when it?s busy. It?s nice to look out the window and watch the world go by.
The door was left open which was letting in a bit of a draft so I had to sit with my jacket on which kind of sucked.
Overall it?s lovely but just needs a touch of improvements here and there.

Stopped for a refuel after a long bike ride. The staff were lovely and the Maple Flapjack I had was incredible. It did the job too as I PB'd my home segment.

This review is for the coffee which is described as a special medium to dark roast arabica with sweet and chocolate hints. I would be amazed if this didn?t have robusta in it or was over roasted as it had the unpleasant aftertaste. On several visits with different staff all but one seemed to be well trained and capable of making good coffee if they had better beans. The one that fell short failed to apply any pressure when tamping which resulted in a watery coffee. The food here is very good, it?s a shame the coffee isn?t.
