spa was lovely, but when i was trying to find the female changing rooms i opened the wrong door and was rudely shouted at ?who?s that? by a male member of staff. kinda threw me off as it was an innocent mistake

I took my sons there for an evening round of golf and the night could not have been better, although the service was slightly delayed which was a shame. Would go again without a doubt but maybe on a weekday. Nice modern facilities and great atmosphere though.

It is a beautiful building exterior, right in the heart of this stunning golf course, surrounded by incredible views, however inside is a bit dated. We enjoyed the event held there though.

Played there a few days ago. Enjoyed the round. Course is interesting and visually attractive with mature trees flanking fairways. Bunkers had some new sand in. A few too many temporary tees even though it hadn?t rained for a week. For the money I would say a bit expensive. Dirty water in the ball washers hadn?t been drained and refilled with clean. No towels hanging below washers which you get at West Essex for a lower green fee. Need to pay attention to details if you?re charging £80 a round.

Played here on a cold day but course in really good condition. Greens in particular very good shape.
All in all it?s a nice layout for sure and wonderful grounds. Would recommend, you will enjoy your day there!

The bar and restaurant were very good, and all staff were friendly and helpful. The changing rooms are tired though, and the pool loungers were hard and very uncomfortable. The pools and steam rooms are great.

I?ve played this course many times but recently I booked a round online thru there website on the day I wanted to play I arrived at the course and warmed up as usual but when I entered the pro shop I was informed the course was closed due to bad weather conditions understandable but extremely frustrating as you can imagine. I told them I would like a refund not a credit as I didn?t know when I would be playing there again I tend to play different courses to mix it up. I was told that wasn?t a problem and I would be refunded. Fast forward two weeks since that day I still hadn?t been refunded despite about 4 or more phone calls over that time in the end I went and played a round there cause there clearly wasn?t going to refund me. Some people might not find it that much of an issue but I personally find it quite unprofessional and having to go play there so that I dont lose out on the green fee I already paid. Beware and check before you book online in the winter.
