Stopped for a quick lunch after a walk in Broxbourne woods. The food was delicious and served quickly. Highly recommend the Sticky Chicken starter.
Kirsty was amazing, so friendly and really sweet with my 5 year old. Thanks for the great service.

Very busy
Under staffed for a bank holiday. Saying that the over worked staff where friendly would come back and try the food

We ordered food first at the bar for our table of 11, everyones food came out except for two dinners. They then blamed us saying that the order was put in later that the rest of the table. When the food did come out both the gravy and peppcorn sauce were cold ,like they had been in a fridge ,the potatoes were still raw and the steak was well done instead of medium. We were very disappointed. As we have gotten lovely food from here before. For over £50 we expect better. I don't know if we'll be back.

First time in this beautiful Pub/Restaurant, riverside location and great hospitality from the staff. We really enjoyed our food and will definitely be returning customers from Birmingham x

Had a lovely weekday lunch here.
The food was delicious and drinks lovely and cold. Staff helpful and friendly, and location was beautiful.
We sat outside at a table next to the river, whilst enjoying our lunch. This was a brilliant way to spend time with family and friends.

our waitress Kirsty was friendly, polite and accommodating. definitely a waitress who stood out from the crowd from all
my meals out this year to date at various restaurants and pubs. the food was good at the crown. we ordered two meals and a side of halloumi fries which were decent - halloumi fries can be really hit and miss at pubs i find. my meal was the chicken burger, this was seasoned well and tasty but a pea sized amount of sauce inside meant i had to ask for more. no real bother. my partner?s fish, chips and mushy peas, he said was good. diners with dogs frequent here as the pub is by the river and on walking routes.

We like the pub as it possion by the river. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Good food and service. Please note outside eating isn't table service.
Lovely seeing everyone enjoying a beautiful day.
One slip up was in the toilets, by a member of staff who asked me to use a toilet as she was stocking up. However to find the other with toilet paper on the floor.

Gem of a pub. Staff were very friendly. Food took time but that was due to the pub being very busy but that's a reflection of a very good pub. Food was hot and delicious. Will be back for sure

Staff were friendly and welcoming atmosphere was chilled and relaxing not rushed which was lovely Kirsty was our waitress and young max was very pleasant also. Food was cooked to perfection I had fish and chips which was lovely crispy but not heavy batter and light and fluffy fish my partner had steak and he was salivating cooked beautifully.
Would highly recommend to friends and family for somewhere to go with great food and lovely atmosphere and staff to match 10/10 ?
