Received two of the worst chicken kormas I have ever seen. The chicken was dry, the sauce was bland and watery. The Morrison?s microwave korma is much nicer. I called the guy to try and give him a chance to put things right for me and he said I was wrong. In fact he claims that he watched them make the kormas and they were cooked to perfection.
Avoid at all costs.

Food is fantastic, service is great. 1 of the best Indian restaurants around. Also has great prices.

This restaurant is our go to Indian, however on this occasion it did not live up to its normal standards!
I had a chicken korma and my wife had a chicken tikka damsak, however in both dishes the chicken was wayyyyy over cooked and tough. At least half was inedible.
They also gave as the mixed meat starter (including prawns) instead of the mix veg starter. My wife is allergic to shellfish.
Very disappointed.

Went there with friends for the first time tonight - very tasty food, very well priced, nice atmosphere and superb staff. Really pleasant evening. We'll deffo be going back.

For me and a couple of friends this has become our monthly curry place. They're reasonably priced and the service is great. I've never felt rushed or pressured in there and the food is delicious.
I'm partial to their madras and dhansak but my friends also recommend the chicken tikka masala as well. (I prefer something a bit more spicy)
As a group of friends we spent a year trying a different curry place each month in and around broxbourne and this one was one of (if not) the best (there was a an excel sheet and everything it was very nerdy). So anyway I'd recommend giving them a try.

I CANNOT praise this restaurant and it's staff enough.
We popped in for a takeaway yesterday night - yet another reminder of why we are so lucky it's our 'go to' and nearby restaurant.
The food is always exceptional. Flavoursome, beautifully cooked and presented.....and they are happy to do Kashmiri Chicken with Lychees (a creamy and sumptuous dish of the heavens!). No matter what you order, it's going to be wonderful!
The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful and owner is one of the loveliest people you could ever meet!! We spoke with him for some time before leaving about family, work and life. He and his staff work so hard to provide this fantastic service.
We expected it to be fully on a Friday night at 9pm but the Manager said that since Covid, business has halved because noone eats out later any more......even younger folks.
So I'd really love to encourage more people to come to Gulshan restaurant!!!! You will not be disappointed. And chat to the Manager - he's such an interesting and lovely gentleman!!!!

We happened by here and really liked it. The food was very good and the plates were preheated and the portions were just right. The cellar was polite, friendly and attentive. Price/performance is right.

Good atmosphere but I think the management thinks their food is tops - it isn't.Chicken tikka masala was bright red, too sweet, hardly any chicken. Tiny portion of rice.Service so poor too. Had to chase for water and were literally given five glasses and the smallest jug of water ever. Among 9 people.Really disappointed as was my Aunt and her group. We had driven 45 mins to get here too.Sorry cannot recommend

Dish full of onions and peppers and lacked the lamb, chicken and prawn that was promised. The curry was grainy and not very nice. The rest of the food was bland and tasteless. This was a total waste of money not good at all. Try anywhere else.Update:Despite reading the reviews below that document how the management have responded to previous claims, I decided to give the Gulsan a chance to rectify the situation. The management told me they had never had any complaints in 20yrs. Please see other reviews. The manager said I just wanted free food and that I was not genuine. This is despite offering to return the food that was poor. He was very rude.I'm not sure that was an Islamic report

Ordered a takeaway asked for tandoori prawns amongst other dishes. I received pieces of prawns and they weren?t tandoori. Madina does proper tandoori and the king prawns are whole.

I?ve ordered 2x lamb biriani x2 nans,last night..and was disappointed with the amount of meat in the servings((4-5 pieces very small) and the size of nans,sizes are small compared to other places.

Hadn?t been here in several years but very pleased to say it?s still the same!, good quality food and a very reasonable price, had the railway lamb which is hearty and very tasty, spinach rice and the cauliflower baji went down very well with our group, service was attentive whiteout being pushy, thoroughly
