Nice venue for a party

We had our wedding reception here at the beginning of October and it was absolutely perfect. We booked back in January, from the very beginning Sarah was brilliant, she was quick in communicating and understanding what we wanted. When we met she had this energy about her, I knew I could completely relax and knew she had everything under control and I knew instantly I had nothing to stress about. Any queries or questions were always met with a can do attitude. Joe was equally as amazing he sorted out the alcohol and was very opened minded when we spoke to him neither of them at any point made us feel like me were being a nuisance.
On the night, we arrived to a beautifully decorated venue, fully staffed and the food was incredible. We had the hog roast with jackets, fries and salad and there was more than enough. Everyone absolutely loved the food.
From start to finish Sarah and Joe made sure our special day was absolutely incredible and we cannot thank them enough.
If you are looking for a venue in the perfect setting with amazing people and incredible food this is the place for you!

Went crazy golf with my new friend and her kid and my kids. A party of 5.We had so much fun. Kept the kids entertained. I highly recommend

First time here, made to feel welcome and shown where to tee off, by staff friendly member. and going to be a regular.
Tried Footgolf for the first time, with my two sons, both grown men ?
Even though I lost, brilliant 9 hole course, running next to the 9 hole golf course, different coloured flags and holes, obviously.
Lovely setting, range of difficulties on each hole.
Really nice clubhouse and facilities, didn't try food, but had a pint of lager each, outside in the seating area, which may I had was brought out to us by a professional and friendly member of staff.
Easy parking, wheelchair accessible.
Will update, review on next visit.
Highly recommend.

Wedding venue: If you want posh and formal this might not be the right place but if you want beautiful surroundings, wonderful food, incredibly helpful and supportive staff then this could be PERFECT! The BGC family of staff made us feel like we were part of their own family. We couldn't have asked for more from them. My daughter had a celebrant led wedding (Zoe Grist - Diamond to Stone) and everything about the day was completely wonderful. Sarah could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. She and the other staff went above and beyond to make sure that the wedding was perfect. They helped with food choices, arrangements, liaising with the celebrant, with 'Dress it Yourself', the florist, the photographer, the band etc etc etc and on the day, they made sure that everything ran smoothly even when we lost track of time. We visited several times in the planning stages of the wedding and Sarah never got fed up with our questions or alterations... amazing! She and Joe provided wonderful food for omnivores, vegetarians, vegans and fusspots! We had a wet weather plan too but luckily the sun shone for us. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Exceptional! Truly.

Quirky wedding venue

We held our wedding here and we couldn?t recommend it enough, Sarah was absolutely amazing and made sure we didn?t have to worry about anything, the staff were incredibly and so so helpful the entire day, they set everything up perfectly and helped make sure our day was amazing, all of our guests kept telling us how amazing the venue was also, can?t recommend the golf complex enough for any event you want to hold

We came today (Fathers Day) to play the mini golf and had a drink in the little club house and had a great time. The mini golf is fun, very well kept and well planned out. The staff in the club house were nice and friendly and it had a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

What an absolute gem of a place. Although it's hidden away, from the minute you arrive, until you leave, it's just fun, fun, fun. All the staff are warm and welcoming. We were in the area, visiting from Nottingham, but would definitely call again.A great afternoons fun.
