We stayed here and monique, idiko and bhuraj very helpful and looked after us well. When idiko served food she always asked if ok and to let her know when require dessert. Bharaj always smiling never stops very helpful person. Nothing was too big or small. Thank you

Rooms may be semi clean, bedding seems alright. Although the toilet wasn?t. The rooms feel huge but have a big open space in the corner and are far too outdated and needs a good renovation. Well I say the rooms do but the whole place needs a good renovation or to be closed. There is a second Travelodge just 3 minutes down the road which is newer has a better atmosphere and had friendlier staff when we turned up to the wrong one he was going to call over to here to see if we were at the wrong one and turned out we were. Main room door doesn?t have any sort of way to lock it but don?t worry the bathroom door has a lock But that lock doesn?t work. Room hasn?t actually been fully cleaned as there was a hair pin on floor. Waited around for 5 minutes before a bloke came wandering out from the back with a face and enthusiasm which looked and sounded like he?d rather be some other place and wasn?t very welcoming.

Nothing wrong with the hotel apart from someone changing a wheel at 5am!
And the guest in the room upstairs pacing around with clumpy shoes on!!

We got allocated to a room third from the end on floor 1, it's like a short vertical double sided fin at the end of a main horizontal~30° angle shaft, see floor plan for illustration. Our view was good, made up of 1 old tree standing in tall grass, backed by a line of newer trees. We got a large shower, the built in type (not the usual portable type.)

Much nicer than the other Travelodge in town. Bigger rooms, better TVs and free parking. Some rooms have HD TVs but most do not. Some have radiators and some have electric heaters. The rooms overlooking the housing nextdoor desperately need net curtains. The electrics are a mess. Bulbs of different colours and switches wired randomly and some working backwards. Also no sockets next to the beds.

Clean room , decor looks dated , bed was comfy though , If you want a basic hotel room then it's ok.

It's OK ...could do with a refurbishment...rooms nice and clean....the only problem is vans are parking in the disabled bays because they are to lazy to walk a bit further..let's hope they never need to use them for real
