AVOID this branch if you can. Unless you want to be verbally attacked, shouted and screamed at by Juhee at the tills. Have made a formal complaint regarding my experiences at this branch with Poundland Customer relations.

This is a great shop, I buy amongst other things, their multi purpose compost for the garden, helps the plants grow and cheaper than Wickes same multi purpose compost. It's a pity this store is facing closure after the £1 take over, another empty shop in borehamwood on the horizon.

I visited on April 23rd at around 4:45 PM and parked my car in the parking lot right outside. My dog was inside the car and did not enter the store at all. He was barking a bit, so I stood near the entrance to tell him to quiet down. I was in a rush when I went in to pay. While I was at the cashier, the woman at the checkout said to another customer, ?I really don?t like dogs.? It felt like the comment was directed at me, even though my dog never came into the store. I don?t understand why she had to make such a nasty comment. I found her extremely rude and felt humiliated. I can guarantee that I will never come back again.

Was very disappointed with the customer service. Stuff member asked for an ID to confirm age. While searching for it we were speaking foreign language to each other. They interrupted as saying ?I don?t know what language you?re speaking show me some ID?. We found and sowed EU drivers licence. To which they said ?no, you live here so show me some UK ID?.
That is a huge assumption and I believe it is impolite in general. We sorted out the situation and got the product. Although shop is good this isn?t an okay way to communicate

Poundland offers great value with a wide range of products at affordable prices. The store is well-stocked, covering everything from household essentials to snacks. Staff are usually friendly and helpful, though the aisles can sometimes be crowded. While product quality can vary, Poundland is a convenient option for budget-conscious shoppers.

First time visiting this store, from abroad between May-July.Excellent selection of toiletries. Easily spent an hour, with each visit.Only 'situation' was ONE of the workers, whose tone was EXTREMELY aggressive, but toned down after l ADDRESSED her.

One of the largest Poundland's I've shopped it. Absolutely packed floor to ceiling with bargains and a Great variety. With fantastic pricing and excellent customer service. Plenty of parking outside , wide Isle for wheelchairs. Very popular so best to go early morning to avoid the shopping rush. There appears to be a far better selection of household items and groceries than other stores.

The woman at the self check-out (the one in glasses) accused me of stealing a £1 bag when I'd in fact bought it last week and used it for that weeks' shopping in Poundland. How could I steal a bag from behind a counter that I can't access anyway? I'd have to ask a member of staff to hand it down to me (rolls eyes). Not nice. She has no customer skills. Also, I was standing in line to pay, but forgot to get some batteries, so I went to the battery section (at the front) and suddenly this very woman, who we've all been on here talking about (we know who), took the trolley out of my hand, picked it up and put it on the self service check out. I couldn't believe it. I stood there, went up to her and said, "How do you know I've finished my shopping?", then she said I could carry on. What happened to being free to walk around a shop floor? I've never had a shop assistant take a trolley out of my hand before. Maybe she wanted to pay for my shopping. Odd assistant and odd behaviour.
