I don't know if they have anÿ managers or anyone to have a control over there so disorganised '3 staff's one men and 2 women just were talking laughing and flirting while costumes were waiting in the queue 'and some of them even don't have any knowledge about their job I was asking about online pay they answered wrong with fault information ' look like they think they're working in a restaurant not a bank

Was told 30 minute wait, waited 40 minutes to be seen for the guy to walk off and deal with other people who have come in after me m, currently writing this while waiting to be served still. I just want my customer number... pathetic..
I have now received my customer number at 10.48 I wrote this review almost an hour ago

Went in today to open an account, told come back in 10 mins, when I got back they were sat with people who walked in before me then expecting me to wait another 40 mins ! So glad you showed me how awful before I was silly enough to join

Rubbish customer service.
I went yesterday to open a bank account to get a safe box and the manager Anton kalubwil told it?s late now because it was after 4pm and he told me I can open the account online, I asked him can you book me an appointment for tomorrow in case I can?t open it online he said you don?t need you can just walk in tomorrow and someone will help you to open the account if you can?t do it online. I tried to open the account online but kept rejecting the ID and the photo so I went the next day to open the account and I told the manager Anton kalubwil I couldn?t open it online but he told sorry we?re fully booked and we can?t do it for you today come next week, I told him but you told me yesterday I can walk in today and open the account, his response was sorry I can?t help you.

Their machine has now twice weighed our money incorrectly and we have paid in cash 3 time and they have told me it was a different amount. The man behind me in the queue also said the dame happened to him.
Used to be a good bank. Now needs to close!
No money machine. Put up the account cost and now taking money from customers.
PLEASE AVOID!!!

There is never a time when I have to deal with the store or with unfortunately Bereavements services that they make it easy for you. At a time of bereavement I cannot tell you how difficult it?s been dealing with Metro.
Everyone says something different to you. Needing this and needing that and when you provide that they then come up with something different. This is a personal account. A charity I work with it?s equally difficult to deal with Metro. And unlike other banks they don?t send replacement debit cards out. You have to go to the store to get one. Easy it?s not.

Hugely disappointing to see this reduction in banking services, in a hub where businesses are open late into the evening. Metro are curtailing their opening hours without consultation with their customers. ?

Last remaining bank account on the borehamwood high street so I went and revived an old account with them. Metro will be my bank of choice while they still have a high street presence. Ridiculous how many branches other banks have closed.
