Just wanted to say a huge thanks for all the help I got! The guy with the curly hair (sorry, I can?t remember his name!) was super nice and really supportive. He took the time to go over my options and made sure I felt totally comfortable with my choices. I really appreciate his kindness and advice. Thanks a ton, I?ll definitely be back!

Very helpful staff member with no agenda, gave free advice. Decent selection of smart phones. 5yr CEX warranty is hard to beat, prices are high for 'A' rated devices though.

Very rude staff they sell me a faulty phone Nothing 2A ,when i go back after 2 days to mention the problem with the phone they don?t want to replace the product or fixed the phone . After i spend £190 they don?t want to help me in any way, the manager of the shop made an allegation that i drop the phone which is not true i buy that phone in grade B which means its not brand new and my have some scratch and on the edge of the phone was like a small crack and they say they don?t sell me the phone like that which is not true because they sell me second hand phone not a brand new phone . I recommend everyone don?t buy for this shop because you will waste your money and your time AVOID this place . The manager was very rude with me very bad experience

Absolutely terrible experience at the Borehamwood CeX store. I bought a PS4 which, once I got it home, wouldn?t even go past the start-up section. After trying multiple times, it was clear it was faulty. As I needed it urgently for my cousin?s birthday and I?m not from the area, I had no choice but to travel elsewhere and buy another console from Cash Converters.
When I finally had time to return the faulty PS4 to the Borehamwood store, a staff member called Velle (or Vella) looked at it and said the problem was a faulty controller wire. She offered me a replacement wire but refused a refund, even though I had explained that the PS4 was sold to me faulty and I had already had to buy another one.
To make matters worse, after she supposedly sorted the issue, we left the store only to realise she had forgotten to even give us the replacement wire, so we had to go back inside again.
Earlier, I had taken the PS4 to another CeX branch, who advised me it needed to go back to Borehamwood. When I told Velle this, she insulted the other branch, calling them a ?crap branch,? which was incredibly unprofessional.
Overall, I was sold a faulty product, wasted time and money travelling back and forth, and was treated poorly throughout. Extremely disappointing service ? would not recommend this store

The lady that served me was nice but as a woman who deals with chronic anxiety. not being greeted when entering the store isn?t really a nice environment to walk into especially when staff are chatting amongst themselves and I?m stood there waiting for a greeting at the till ( I was the only one in the store too). Working in retail myself I understand this may not be a big thing to you at that moment but that interaction made me know I will be heading to Watford from now on we?re the staff nicely welcome customers. Like I said before the lady that served me was nice/ok but I made up an excuse about a charger and left because I felt uncomfortable all together- kinda felt like I was offending them my presence. Even if this may not be true just please create a healthy environment for customers from all walks of life as you don?t know what people are going through and it took a lot for me to walk into that store today.

The product I purchased (earphones) was clearly faulty, however the salesperson refused to give a refund or offer a replacement, whilst being very condescending.

Very rude customer service at borehamwood Cex. I bought a phone here that didn?t work properly and they would not refund or even exchange even though I had warranty. Would never buy anything here again !
