I've 'threatened', pretty much every time I've been in CEX over the last 3-4 weeks, to leave a 'review'. Soooooo...here goes...Personable, professional and highly recommended. They know their stuff and can help anyone, if asked properly, to find the right solutions to the issues they're asked about. They will, if the situation warrants, engage with overly playful 'wit' and 'shenanigans', which is right in my 'wheelhouse'.I'm dropping in on a reasonably regular basis just to say hi. And, on the odd occasion, drop off 'chunks of change' for gear I'd like, and gear that's going to make things easier for me. And tbh, they haven't made a single wrong step.So far, all green flags all the way and there's no reason to expect any drop in standards whilst the current staff are in 'position'.Note for the boss...I'm still waiting for my Noddy entrance music! ;)9 stars. Cause always have one in your pocket for 'special'.Thank you ladies and gentlemen and all points in between.

Rock bottom money for top quality hardware - no, this isn't what they are offering to customers, this is what they give you if you have a good phone or device that you were hoping to recover some money for. Okay, they have a business to run, but ultimately selling old phones here leaves you feeling slightly robbed. However, it's easier than putting the phone on a website, selling it and making more money doing it yourself. The staff are very friendly and helpful, which helps.

Typical CeX store but the Staff it's not really qualified. I bought a stuff which was wrongly described. So better check everything before leaving the shop. Also their head office promised to me some 10£ gift voucher as a compensation for mistake and I never got the voucher.

Staff are very welcome and knowledgeable. Good prices on lots of second hand electrical equipment. Includes games and smart home devices.

Bought a phone uncharged in good faith of this organisation's '2 year warranty on everything'. It didnt work once charged up. It then physically broke, breaking when receiving a call on vibrate. They didnt uphold the warranty due to the physical damage. They rejected my request for a refund 3 times and my formal complaint yielded no improved service. Eventually (after a month of to and fro) I had to threaten small claims action before they refunded me 2 days before my claim was due to be filed with the County Court. There was no apology or offer of goodwill in settlement.In short, buy at your risk and expect almost non-existent customer service if anything goes wrong. The 'warranty' is they sell under meaningless unless you threaten to go to court. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Only ever bought games from here and all of them have worked and been fine. I would say that considering some of the games are second hand it could be a little cheaper. We?ve actually got some electrical items that we need to bring in but when we went in to get an estimate it was pretty quick.
