I saw that Caffè Nero had macha for the first time and I had quite a disappointing time having it. first of all, it was such a rip-off to get a macha. Sooo expensive!!! Second of all, they added way too much ice so I only got about one sip. I hate caffès that do this. Then I asked to get it topped up as it was so little and they said they could not do this as they precisely measure it out. So if I had to ask for no ice, I would basically get an espresso. If I wanted an espresso, I would ask for one. I will not be returning to café Nero!!!!

Lovely service!
Still don't understand why the public are allowed to bring dogs into coffee shops! Outside i understand but inside around food and young children i struggle to get my head around.

Barista was rude. I arrived to pick up my coffee from app order.coffee wasn?t even made on time. Staff wasn?t even aware there was an order. Barista didn?t even give me a straw and had to go back.

Popped in this morning to get a vanilla iced latte. I felt the waitress had a bad attitude rather than asking customers to pay or hand over their food to be heated she would just gesture by shaking her hand. Secondly when she went to pour my drink I noticed that it was hot I states that I asked for it to be iced. She then said I did not do this and asked for it to be hot - now as someone who hates hot drinks I know I would not do this. Then finally a cold drink was made. She was entering my order into the till she said I had asked for oat milk - again I had to correct her on this and yet again I was blamed. Finally the correct order was made and she slammed my drink that wasn't even filled to the top on to the table and said here you go. I left immediately and regretted my choice of going there and I never will again. £4.50 for a drink that wasn't even filled up properly and rude staff that don't listen and then blame the customer.

No napkins or cutlery given. I've always come here, but it's become a bit sloppy with customer service. Time to move on.

Absolutely average coffee. Pain au raisin was stale. Not worth the price they charge. Recommend trying one of the many independent coffee shops in Stortford!

I quite like it there especially upstairs seating more quiet and private, service not too bad, member of staff are polite. However I think they can improve the menu variety, sandwiches choice are limited.

Terrible service. Went there on Wednesday 19/02 at 09:45am. I asked for a Chai late in a medium take away cup and the lady (brunette cannot recall her name) proceeded to let me know that it comes in large only and was being very patronising and lowkey aggressive. I needed the medium cup as it fits more snugly in my buggy cup holder with less spillage. I was holding shopping bags & pushing my buggy & the lady showed zero compassion. She lied and said they had no medium cups when I was looking right at it ??. Decided not to argue the matter and paid for my drink & left - which I had to hold because it kept on spilling on my buggy & eventually threw it away. I go there 3/4 times a week but won?t be going there again. The trainee male barista was great but that lady was absolutely terrible.

I come here regularly and all staff members are
wonderful and do their best to serve you as quickly as possible, especially considering how busy the store can get. Unfortunately, a significant portion of customers are morons and are not happy unless they are moaning. For example, some customers are incapable of reading signs on doors and then complain to staff about things such as not being able to pay with card (yes guys, it is the fault of the person working behind the counter that the card reader broke. You guys are rude, disrespectful, and delinquent. Grow up.) However, the staff are fantastic, and the coffee is great.

I only give 1 star because I cannot give 0. Very rude staff. I was there to pick up an order, one of the girl was chatting with other person about privet things and the girl behind the counter was very slow and unprofessional. Never again.
