I was impressed by the speed at which I was able to book. Last time my eye test was due, there was such a backlog due to the pandemic, I had to go elsewhere. I wasn't impressed by the cost or care. I had a thorough test yesterday, including a detailed scan which revealed an eye abnormality that needs further attention. The optometrist advised I don't yet buy glasses, in case my prescription changes after having potential treatment for the abnormality. I thought that was honest advice. I was thoroughly impressed with my care. Also, I had a phone call the day before to screen for any requirements I might have before the test. I have been super impressed!

I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes in advance (12:35) but didn't get to see optician until around 13:25 the explanation for this is that the store was to busy. From my observation there appeared to be a fair number of young people working there who haven't had adequate training

Johan the optician provided the most comprehensive, competent and helpful eye examination I have ever had. The guy is amazing. I have had trouble with opticians over the years with a query diagnosed keratoconus condition. Horrific recent experience with vision express. Awfully rude and dismissive customer service. You walk in, several members of staff available. No one looks over and greets you or ask how they can help, not one smile or welcome into the shop. And then they seem totally at odds with being able to help you with a simple question unless you have an appointment. Useless!

Dreadful customer experience- was told wrong information and ended up paying for something I didn?t want. And when questioning the charges I was told it was ?only £30 anyway?! No apologies made that they gave me wrong information and made to feel I was in the wrong for asking

Popped in today (26th February 2023) as I wanted my Pupillary distance measured and to book my contact lens review. I'm on the monthly lens scheme so I pay by direct debit and all of my 'treatment' is included. I recently had my eye test but the optician didn't measure my pupillary distance. So I popped into ask if it could be measured. I explained that I wanted to order a pair of Chanel glasses online (Boots do not sell Chanel) I was told quite abruptly 'no' So I've cancelled my direct debit and went next door to SpecSavers who were very happy to measure it for me! Don't waste your time guys - takes about 4 months for an appointment anyway. Pop next door to SpecSavers far more accommodating!

I?m 13. My brother sat on my glasses and I was too scared to tell my mum. I came in after school today and the lady behind the counter was so nice to me! I was so scared they?d be a large amount of money but she went to talk to her manager and they re-structured the metal for free. So grateful and have been coming here for almost 7 years!
