We had a fabulous meal from the pre-theatre menu. All three courses were delicious, the food was cooked to perfection. We had wonderful service too, especially from Klaudia on this occasion.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options were readily available when we sought advice.

Although I enjoyed the food, I found a male member of staff very over friendly towards me & my friends, he kept offering us free shots after us repeating saying no, as we left he kept insisting we left a positive review online. I found the experience very uncomfortable.

This place is a true gold find! On a flying visit and walked past and had to try it as it looked like an art deco dream from the high street!
So glad I did! We had the before cinema 3 course deal and it was superb!
Had the most amazing crisper to perfection sea bass and complementary pink fizz. All in superb style in a booth next to the white gloss grand piano!
5 star all round and Kimberly was very attentive and staff all excellent!

We enjoyed a fabulous evening meal and would highly recommend. The food was excellent and every single member of staff was so progressional and accommodating and clearly take much pride in offering an a first class dining experience all round. We will be back. Thank you.
Vegetarian options: Appreciated our coats taken on arrival and excellent attention to drink top-ups and course transitions. Highly recommend the bread and butter pudding!

So disappointed with the food and service. The Gatsby used to be our favourite restaurant in Berko but we went for our anniversary and it was a huge let down. I think the new owners have changed it too much.

Unfortunately, the meal did not meet the standard I was expecting based on previous visits or the reputation of your restaurant.

Lovely set menu for lunch. Good value and food served hot. Choice of food menu good. Didn?t select any alcohol beverage. Will return sometime for afternoon tea. Art deco atmosphere lovely. Toilets very clean.

The new (Turkish) menu is below average compared to other local Turkish based menus in the area. I?m not sure what the new owners are trying to do? but it?s not what I?d expect from such a well known brand like the Gatsby.
The service was slow and we were ignored for over 20 minutes. (And it wasn?t even busy) the atmosphere was dull and a big disappointment overall.
I wouldn?t be going back in a rush.

From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the venue?s breathtaking charm. The building itself is a stunning piece of history, with intricate details that tell a story in every corner.
We were warmly greeted by the attentive staff, who promptly guided us to our table. The service was impeccable from start to finish.
The starters set the tone for an incredible dining experience?fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. By the time the mains arrived, we were so eager to dive in that we forgot to take a picture?but trust us, they were just as exceptional. The desserts? Simply out of this world.
The ambiance is both authentic and elegant, making it an ideal setting for weddings, birthday celebrations, and special occasions. Plus, there?s plenty of nearby parking and easy access via train.
A truly unforgettable experience?we can?t wait to return!
