Atmosphere is really good along with staff.
Sadly all the food we had was tasteless and very overpriced, £14 for scraps of nachos. The burger was dry and the chicken had next to no seasoning

It is a lively pub with a good selection of drinks and food. The car park is limited, but you can usually find parking spaces on nearby streets. Overall, it is a nice place to spend a few hours with friends.

Loved it here!! Gorgeous views of the canal area, right on the path for a walk afterwards.
The fish finger sandwich was delicious and all the staff super friendly!

No one serving at the bar when you walk in on numerous occasions.
Food is great, could do with some ambient music on quieter days.

Such a wonderful day with the view of the canal and nice breeze. Ordered the favourite fish and chips and it was perfect with the curry sauce they combined it with! Worth the money and the time we spent. Very clean toilet and the staff were friendly?

We had met our daughters nearby for a dog walk and needed a place for lunch. Found this pub after a quick Google search. Great pub with friendly staff. The food arrived quickly and was well presented. Very tasty food. The outside seating area was really nice with a view over the canal. Would highly recommend.

The food is genuinely superb! Beautiful location, fairly good service, but we?ve had a few meals here and each time we?ve been pleasantly surprised at how good the food is.Whoever the chef is, I take my hat off to you? the flavour of the hummus - lamb flatbread starter was perfection!

My husband and I walked here after visiting Berkhamsted Castle. We ordered two pub classics: fish & chips and sausages & mash. Both were delicious! We also enjoyed being near the water and the staff was friendly. Definitely recommend!
