It would be pretty decent if a company called that called themselves Screwfix actually stocked a decent amount of screws and fixings but they don't. It's a great shop for most other things but it's so frustrating scraping through the hundreds of options back and forth just to find out again nothing is in stock. Again today after framing nails and flooring screws, tonnes of options but zero stock.

Never known a screwfix like it. I?ve worked all over the country for years on end for various companies. I?ve ordered 5 different products for next day delivery and picked up only 1. An absolute jobsworth of a worker called Vince nearly jeopardised further orders from my company with his jobsworth attitude. Jewsons is close by. Screwfix Hemel Hempstead is 30 mins, Well worth the travel as it?ll save you dealing with idiots. Hope Vince sees this. He?s the common denominator

New touch screen system is rubbish. You put in specific items and get general run down of all of that product. Also today out of 8 items they had 3 in stock. Really. Geordie
