Really irritating how they keep requesting you donate to some random charity when paying. I come to buy wine not support something i have never heard of or trust, even the staff find it annoying. Happily the wine shop in town does not so have migrated there for wine instead

I gave a quick call to the store to see if they had what I wanted and the lady I spoke to said she would put it aside for me. A friendly smile on arrival and my bottle of port was waiting for me. She mentioned she had additional stock and also mentioned the 6 bottle offer so I left with what I came for and some of her recommended Malbec as well. Great service!

Very helpful staff, who were also very friendly. They're knowledgeable staff too, who will happily talk to you about their wines, but will stay in the background and allow you to wander around the store selecting bottles.I was impressed, and will definitely be back, when I've drunk what I've just purchased !

Poor service. Asked shop assistant by phone to put aside two boxes of wine for me so i could collect them in 30 minutes or so. He refused to do so, saying "we have plenty in stock". So when i arrived he had to go off to find two boxes, delaying the transaction. Then I asked for some Fever Tree Elderflower Tonic but not the Refreshingly Light version. He clearly didn't understand the difference between this and the regular version, indicating a lack of product knowledge.

Alex the manager of this store is full of false promises, unhelpful and I would go as far to say incompetent with a true LACK of customer care. He even agreed to the term ?computer says no? when trying to help with an online order. I recommend NOT ever shopping at this branch of Majestic whilst he remains manager.

Easy to deal with and helpful, friendly staff. Good value, quality and range of wine and prosecco. Shame all the glasses we hired were dirty and had to be washed before we could use them. Not acceptable any time let alone with Covid careering around the world! They ought to be hired out professionally cleaned not reliant on last user!

Not a great selection of Italian wines but the ones there were good , you have to buy a mix of six bottles to get a reasonable price, staff helpful
