“We popped into the three tuns as we were driving through Ashwell and needed some food. We were delighted by the cosy atmosphere, warm and friendly welcome from the barmaids and the amazing food. I had the sausages and mash which was incredibly filling. The red onion gravy was a lovely addition combined with the high quality meaty Lincolnshire sausages. The buttery mash and greens were plentiful and I felt very satisfied with the meal. A really lovely classic and highly recommended to anyone who visits!
My partner had the cod and chips and was equally delighted. The portion size was more than generous and was seasoned to perfection. The batter was light yet crispy and the accompanying fries were evenly cooked. We didn't visit the garden as it was early evening but I spotted a beautiful play area and spacious garden which I'm sure will be lovely in the summer. Overall we had a lovely experience and would gladly revisit on the next passing through!”
