Lovely place in the village. It was nice to be outside in the sun. We only had sandwiches but they were delicious. The steak and Stilton ciabatta was especially good. The only downside was it took 45 mins for the food to arrive and some tables that ordered after us were served before which was odd given we were only 2.

A lovely looking country pub, we were meeting with family for a special occasion. The food was good after an hours wait for it to come. The roasts were very good however I ordered the vegetarian burger which came out cold in a stale dry bun. I did mention it to the staff but they did not seem worried and I was still charged. It was disappointing and the service could have been better, we had to ask for things twice and eventually had to go to the bar to pay as no one came to the table.

We are From the North and Staying with family in Therfield, had sunday lunch at the pub. The food was delishous and the staff were so very helpful and pleasant. Would definitely recommend the beef sunday dinner and my husband had the fish and chips which he said was amazing.

This is the second time we visited, unfortunately it did not live up to our first visit .
The sausages looked anemic,the burger was well done ( maybe I should have asked for medium rare ) the chips I could have died for last time , unfortunately they were frozen chips.
Will try again as feel as though I have been a little harsh.

Nice pub and atmosphere, great service. Feels very community focused. Just stopped for a few drinks so didn't eat but it smelt and looked great. Good amount of car parking and outdoor seating.

6 of us had a fantastic meal to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. Food was excellent and plentiful. Staff were efficient and polite.

This is such a great village pub! Doesn?t try to be a gastro pub, but served great food. Staff are all friendly and service is excellent. Dog friendly, great spot, proper old English pub. Can?t fault the place!

Went here Saturday for a family meal and ended up sick Wyeth food poisoning. Awful symptoms and still not fully recovered. Avoid anything with rice as it appears not to be heated properly. Also, one of the guest's

Called in following recommendations from other Motorhome users. Friendly welcome, good beer, wine, food. Quiet location no railways, main roads flight path. Just bees and birdsong.

Locals must feel really fortunate to have such an appealing pub in their midst. A great place to do and chill, with attentive staff and in a lovely location. Will definitely return in the near future.

We went for dinner here on Friday the 13th, and we had the most amazing time! There was live music which we didn't realise at the time and it was really good.
The food has changed since we last came, so they must have new chefs. When I say it's changed I mean it has massively improved, so I highly recommend this pub if you're looking for delicious food, good drinks and a great atmosphere this is the one. It seems they are doing lots of events so we will be looking out for those and sure to come along again.

After 20 days travelling around Scotland and loving all of its glory in a motorhome we have spent quite a few nights staying out back of pubs, first being in Nottingham, a few in Scotland and now heading back to London we stumbled upon the best family and fun cultured pub we've been to. The Fox and Duck in Therfield, The food was amazing, the staff as good ? 100 out of 100.
Being from Queensland, Australia it's along way to come but the lovely people here have made it a wonderful experience ??
