We went on kebab night and the food was insanely nice, and the price was incredibly cheap as it was £72 pound for 4 , with drinks and deserts. The cheapest place we have been since lockdown started, I can't recommend this place enough. Absolutely amazing. ?

Food and service were brilliant. Chef came out and took the order as a wedding party and arrived unexpectedly. Even with this full pub, the food arrived quickly and was good nosh. See you next year.

Really delicious food! First time I've eaten here, even though I've lived in the area for years. I was very impressed, I had the sea bass and the best ratatouille I've ever eaten. My partner had very good fish and chips. Friendly barmade too. Sunny garden.

A good honest pub. The food is delicious and made in the pub. We came twice for lunch and both times were made to feel welcome. We both had the cheese and bacon burger. I had it with onion rings (small portion - it was generous so the large portion must be very generous!) The chips were real chips tasting of potato- a rare experience. The burger was brilliant. The onion rings were is a light batter, crunchy, juicy and tasty. Great value for money. We took our 7-month old Springer Spaniel puppy in and she was made welcome. Hence why we came twice.
The drop in atmosphere was simply that it was very quiet but the barmaid and chef both chatted with us.

Proper pub lunch with the old man for his birthday treat.
Finding a pub that gives what it's supposed to - good honest, homecooked food with a decent pint and no faff is increasingly hard to find. The Red ticks all the boxes for pub grub and atmosphere. The young lady serving was brilliant - really helpful, really attentive. Other pubs that over price and try too hard could learn a thing or two. Keep up the great work ??
