Quiet room. Staff friendly and polite. Only issue we had was a leaking toilet which only discovered when got a wet foot in the bathroom. Did report it, so hopefully it's now fixed, it was just a bit annoying.

Comfortable Clean Staff friendly and polite. On-site food was average. Strangely there are no toilets in public areas including the bar or restaurant. A new extension and restaurant bar is planned with toilets. Ample parking. Very convenient for travelling as close to main routes and not too far for Ross or Hereford exploration.
Rooms: Our accessible room was conveniently located and undisturbed during our stay. Clean and comfortable. Everything you need
Walkability: Not really situated for walking to or from
Food and drinks: Average choice and food for this type of venue
Noteworthy details: Ample parking and convenient for routes

I am giving it a one star as we are in 2024, the wifi is absolutely poor. As a businessman, we use these facilities to get work done as well but alas my first time and I am not impressed.

The Beefeater beside the hotel has been shutdown, it was a great pub/restaurant, there is a restaurant inside the Premier inn but not a patch on the Beefeater, probably wont be goi g back. Used it at least 10 times last year.

The heating wasn't working so the room was freezing. There was an freestanding radiator in the room so this is obviously not a new problem. I got no sleep as I was so cold all night.
I had booked a table with reception on arrival for 2 people. When we came down to eat we were told the chef had gone home so they had closed for food. Nobody had bother to notify us even though we had booked.
I won't be staying here again!

There was a power cut in the area which I appreciate is out of their control but when all the other businesses around them had gone back online and were working fine but the hotel wasn't is nothing to do with the national grid but their own electrical systems being poorly maintained, where was the backup generator?. Even the emergency lighting didn't operate. I asked for a refund or partial one due to the fact the room was freezing cold and no hot water and was told it was the national grid's fault and not theirs so will not offer any refund. Shame on you premier inn you are happy to take the money from guests but unwilling to reinvest it into your hotels to make sure guests stays are unaffected by things like power cuts.

Paid £90 per night, was shocked!Dirty, old room with fungus everywhere, heater doesn?t help at all.

Very bad mobile signal,so this hotel decided to scam you, what they do?You have access for free wi-fi what gonna work slow and disconnect every 2 min,SO they offer you to pay £5 for UNLIMITED WiFi for one night!

Didn't really appreciate the fire alarm going off at 8.30 in the morning, but hey ho, if people will take a shower without shutting the door ......

Have stayed at dozens of premier inns over a number of years. The accommodation is as you would expect with no complaints but there has definitely been a drop in quality of the food in their Brewers Fayre restaurants. We choose premier inns because they have always had a restaurant attached offering good value meals. It?s hard to put your finger on what has happened but they do seem to run with the bare minimum of staff in the restaurants in all of the premier inns we have recently stayed in. The food is no longer value for money, the Mac and cheese looked like it was out of a tin which is fine but not at £13. The breakfasts, which were always superb are now hit and miss with old reheated beans ? The staff can?t be faulted, always work hard but I?m feel they are the victims of cost cutting and are not able to provide a consistent service.
Rooms: Rooms are what you expect clean, good shower and comfortable beds
Walkability: Isolated with no safe way to walk into Ross on Wye it?s either drive or taxi
Food and drinks: Poor Value for money, old reheated beans for breakfast, Mac and cheese either reheated or out of a tin but certainly not worth £13 Drinks expensive two bottles of beer and a ginger ale £16 ?

Staff Freindly
Rooms, need a refurb.
Overall Not the usual standard of a Premier Inn, as such prices charged not good value.

We stayed for one night at Ross on wye premier inn and had a pleasant stay in clean room and very quiet location , went out for tea in town five min drive away and we are glad because breakfast was terrible after an hour waiting and getting the order wrong finally got presented poor quality not very warm food. Husband had finished his poorly cooked food by the time I got mine after the order was wrong. Bacon was only just cooked along with the only just warm mushrooms.
The girls waitressing very nice and doing their best but being let down by the kitchen
