I have to say I was impressed with how food the food was, everything certainly arrived fresh and well cooked. I was impressed with my salmon and my calamari which didn't appear to be just out of the freezer. Although the spicy mayo sauce should say hot mayo I would certainly make a trip to visit

Food is pretty decent, but the staff are really great. One of the servers, Charlie, was absolutely off her feet serving so many people at once and was still super lovely and chipper. Absolutely killing it.

Stopped on our way back after canoeing. Very friendly staff, food was excellent and plentiful. Special shout out to Charlie who was incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend ?

We have eaten here a few times as family live close by. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are really friendly and the service is excellent. Food is always freshly cooked, plenty of it and tastes delicious. Drinks are good (we only have soft drinks) love the coffee and little desserts. Parking is free when you put your reg in a machine.

Staff were friendly and polite, however tables were sticky, chairs were wobbly, I swapped them twice, food arrived and was different to menu, things were missing, no gravy with the pie, chef didn't even have some bisto to whip up, starter and pudding were not very tasty, wont be returning sorry

Had food at this beefeater a number of times and found the staff to be really helpful and always willing to help with anything. Most of the time food came out as ordered and was tasty. A couple of times things came out not quite as advertised on the menu. Think if they have to change some items then we should have been told when we ordered but we didn't complain as it was only little things. We liked sitting out in the garden and having quiet drink there as it was nice and peaceful. We did notice some bits that needed doing up including the toilets which were in a bit of a mess after busy food sittings where they probably didn't have the staff to clean them quick enough and there were sometimes queues to get to use them.

Food was good quality, Mixed grill was spot on, staff were friendly and attentive at all times. Inside was nice and bright, can?t go wrong.

Absolutely disgusted at the car parking fine handed out to some members of our group. They were 15 mins over the apparently allotted time. 7 of us had lunch, then stayed on for puddings then coffee. All money for the restaurant and then to receive a fine! The company didn?t want to know when we contacted them and just said it wasn?t their car park!! They will not get any of our business again!

Had Sunday lunch here for the first time with visiting family. Booked beforehand as I know they get busy. Excellent staff (very attentive and friendly), food on the table very quickly, amazing quality food, great customer loyalty discounts. Highly recommend and will be going back. Well done.

Service was good and friendly, the food however left a lot to be desired. I had a mixed grill the stake was medium to rare as requested but had not been tenderised properly if at all, at £45 for that and a salmon meal I won't go there again, and before people ask no I didn't complain, I did mention it to the lovely lady who came to tidy the table, but she was nice and had nothing to do with the cooking, I was tired and grumpy and would not have been polite so rather than getting more worked up we left.

Highly recommend the Beefeater at Ross-on-Wye, we go every week. The staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming, can?t do enough for you. Great value for money and food is lovely. We have gone for breakfast, lunch and dinner and always happy.

Just dropped in for a quick snack. Everything spotlessly clean and welcoming. Quick and friendly service by Bethan was much appreciated - as was the excellent cheesy mushroom starter!
