Proper traditional Sunday roast carvery. Polite and attentive staff and lovely Wye Valley ales from the on-site brewery; only niggle was the rather crowded and hot dining area but we still had a great time with home cooked food.

Overpriced, ordered the pie which I had to ask for chips and veg otherwise it would have come on it's own... For £17! Partner ordered the veggie stir fry as she's vegetarian and it came out with chicken in it so she changed to fish and chips... That then came out with no chips... We were new to the area and were looking for somewhere for dinner. This pub was recommended by many people on trip advisor and it did not disappoint. It ticked the boxes for our party on all accounts. The menu was varied, the portions were very generous and everyone said the food was delicious. The service was excellent.... read full comment
