“Very well thought out sustainability refill method. Take your old container, any size or shape, and either donate and take one of their barcoded containers, i.e., jar, bottle, etc, and fill the required amount, weight, pay, and go!Also, coffee is brilliant there. Spices, dried fruit, etc. by the weight.”

“I want to say a massive thank you to Ian, who works at this location.I was heading out on a long trip and was anxious about the low pressure on a front tire. Some how, whilst having a blonde moment, I managed to deflate the tire, rather than fill it with air.Ian was kind enough to come outside, walk me through how to operate the air machine and then checked all my tires by putting the correct PSI in each one.I was so grateful to drive away knowing my car was good to go and safe to drive. Thanks again Ian, and to all the other staff that are nice and friendly every time I visit this store.?”

“A smallish Iceland but quite well stocked. Their insulated shopping bag excellent value at £1.75. Holds 40 litres too. However there is often a queue at the till as they rarely open the second one so I only call in occasionally.”

“Best Lidl experience I've ever had! I visited on a Wed afternoon, before the schools were out and the store was clean, well stocked and blissfully quiet. No parking restrictions either. Definitely a 5* experience.”

“Lovely shop you pay for what you get senerio! A bit pricey but you can't knock the quality. On the negative side only ever one till open so service is very slow if your buying frozen food! I never buy stuff for my freezer as the service is so slow then the walk to the carpark, plus the journey home.”

“It's true this Waitrose is smaller than the Abergavenny store but the day I visited I was pleasantly surprised to find more fresh fruit and veg here.It lost a star because it didn't meet the usual high standards of cleanliness eg there were partners tidying shelves near some saturated cardboard on the floor seemingly unaware and no hazard signs. There is a large carpark and the first hour is free but you must get a ticket to park when you arrive. I suppose it is camera controlled. There are options to pay to stay longer and £1 for an extra hour seems reasonable as it's very handy for the main shopping street in Monmouth.”
