This is a delightful place to visit. We had a very interesting talk from Mark, the owner, in the coffee shop as it was raining. We had a lovely walk in the grounds, seeing the watermill and the 3 follies, including the dome made from different coloured bottles, and the large cuckoo clock in delightful grounds. An excellent place to visit.

Absolutely brilliant. The owner took the time to explain to us how the cuckoo clock worked with a full demonstration of the mechanics. Love the fact the garden is so wild. Great day, even in the rain. Stopped in the cafe to warm up and the food was lovely. Thank you.

We didn't go around the gardens as raining hard. But used the cafe. Had a delicious quiche, huge pot of tea & large bit of cake. Everything is homemade. NurseryRestrooms: Basic yet clean

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. To get the best value from the visit you need to have the ability to appreciate the hours of love that have gone into creating this beautiful and magical space. Use all your senses and take your time to explore. Make sure you visit the cuckoo clock tower about 10 minutes before the hour for an interesting and knowledgeable talk. The sweet and savoury scone options with a cuppa were also great.Dog-friendliness: We didn't bring our dogs on this occasion but we would have had no issue with the short lead request. This is not really a garden for a dog walk but is fine if you just want your dog to accompany you on your visit

Such a lovely surprise on the Black and White Village Trail. Truly beautiful quirky and interesting. Loved the owner's explanation of the huge cuckoo clock. Soooo enthusiastic. Then we had some tea and cake which was delicious . Next time lunch. It looked so good.

Don't bother if you have a wheelchair user in your family, website states 85% wheelchair accessible and after 15 minutes of being there couldn't get any further. Over £30 to get in and when told one person was in a wheelchair the man and woman looked at each over and he shook his head. We felt like asking for a refund but didn't as we didn't want to cause a scene in front of over families. If you want to go to see some water gardens go to Kenchester, wheelchair accessible, no entry fee, lovely home cooked food at the cafe and brilliant staff

Delightful! The owner gave us a detailed talk about the workings of the water-powered cuckoo clock - highly recommended for budding engineers. The gardens are relatively small, but full of wonders.

Gorgeous place. Thanks to the owners for keeping it wild yet wonderful with passion and kindness. Loved the cuckoo clock and the bottle dome, but most of all the driftwood horse and wild meadows. Thank you. Fabulous cafe filled with home cooked delights, too. x

This is the first time I have visited a garden where the main theme is water. Set out over 5 acres, it's not a huge area to wander through, but every inch has been beautifully thought out.You have streams, a canal, meandering waterways wherever you look, a bog garden & much more to feast the eye on. Three follies add a quirkiness, you must sit in the bottle folly & don't stray far from the cuckoo clock as it nears the hour!Take your time when walking around, as this is a place to be savoured & you don't want to miss a thing. There are plenty of benches where one can sit & take in the beauty of the surroundings.Of course, no trip would be complete without indulging in the joy that is homemade cake & a cup of tea. There's something rather wonderful about drinking tea from a pretty china cup on a beautiful sunny day, whilst savouring a delicious slice of cake. A delightful way to end your visit before making the journey home. ?

Wow! What a unique and charming garden. There's something for every take and style of gardening and both fun, camp instalments as well as traditional mill gardens with beautiful arrangements. There's character and culture here, and would be fun for all ages, the more visually stimulating glass house or spitting statues and the comforting hills and preservation gardens were like a visual tale being told. The cake was lovely from the café and the staff were lovely, as well as providing such a concise map which truly helped navigate to every section of the beauteous setting. The ticket price was generous and the fact they're using that money for conservation made my heart sing. A must see if you're ever in the area - it's guaranteed to at least put one smile on your face at some point.

Lovely little garden We visited at the start of May following lockdown rules in the UK being relaxed. The garden and tea room were both open, welcoming visitors to enjoy what is a pretty garden. The garden is of a reasonable size, upon entering next the the cafe it continues back quite a long way. There is a mix of water garden and more open grass areas with interesting planting and use of structure. With a visit at anytime of the year ?

A lovely hidden gem in Herefordshire with an interesting and unusual story behind it. The gardens are fun to explore, with lots to discover around every corner. There is a pleasant cafe, where we enjoyed a 'ploughmans' lunch, a pot of tea for two and some rather good coffee cake. The gardens are dog-friendly too and our greyhound enjoyed exploring them as much as we did.

The garden looks bigger on the website must be the professional angles it's taken from? The Web site says £6 entry fee but when we got there it was £7.50. Nice garden but not worth £7.50. It's says a large selection of plants for sale? We found maybe 15 plants out side the front of the cafe for sale? All in all it was a ok place, but the price we paid to get in there are much better places to go to be fair.
