Good pint and food

We stayed overnight in our camper including EU. A warm welcome was given and even kept the kitchen open for us. We chose our food and played board games with our grandson whilst it was freshly cooked. We couldn't knock anything. Even our fussy eating grandson told chef how amazing his Chicken Burger was. We will certainly be back in the next month or two. Thanks for the lovely welcome Tracy, Jonathan, Bruce and Benny the dog.

Really friendly and welcoming village pub. I have eaten here many times and the food is always excellent. As it?s all freshly cooked to order they are happy to tailor dishes where practical. Highly recommended for a visit.

The meal was simple and homemade, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. However, the meal was spoilt by very loud continuous barking from dogs that belonged to the pub. Several of our group said they would not go again for that reason.

Cannot recommend this charming pub / restaurant highly enough. I had the best Stilton and brocolli soup I've ever had and the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. The owners were incredibly kind and helped me out when I got stranded in a flood.

I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you for allowing us to stay with you. We had an absolutely delightful visit, and the food was simply fantastic.
While light sleepers might find it a bit challenging, the warm atmosphere, friendly people, and the fantastic food at the pub made it a memorable experience. Your place is truly a must-visit for every Britstopper.

First visit for me, went with a couple of friends a couple of Saturday evenings ago, they are regular visitors there. Good pints of Wye Valley Butty Bach, food was superb lovingly cooked by mine host. Will certainly be back. ?

We visited as a family with 3 children for dinner. Both Jed and Allie were friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent.Parking: Plenty of parking next to the pubKid-friendliness: Staff really welcoming, there were games for them to play (Connect 4, Battleships etc)

Accommodated us when we broke down. They stayed open longer than they should have for us. Such friendly people. The food was awesome too ?. Highly recommend. I will be back again with the kids. Can't thank them enough.Parking: Loads of space.Kid-friendliness: Lots of board games to entertain the kids.
