“Got stuck with a puncture in freezing temperatures just round the corner. To find a corner shop that did hot drinks and a microwave for a pasty was an absolute lifesaver after sitting in a cold car waiting for recovery.”

“Late in the day, but we still got canny service and a good selection for our late lunch, enjoyable. The tea room is out the back of the post office and it looked to have a nice outdoor area if the weather had been better.”

“Stopped off here twice to buy food as we were staying at a local farm for 2 weeks. Great shop and Post Office, run by volunteers, all very friendly and very helpful, some limitations on food selection. The Gallery Café is also run by volunteers, which is located above the shop in the church, again very nice and friendly. Good quality cakes and coffees, at very good prices, light lunches are served on selected days, well worth a visit to support them all. Walking down to the shop we passed many locals, who too were very friendly and spoke, this is how a village community should be and other villages need to follow this example. We will certainly be back again. Thank you all for giving up your spare time to serve your community.”

“Not Only are the staff here excellent and cannot do enough, they are thoroughly honest. I left a very expensive phone down here and the manager opened up especially for me whilst they were on strike and went and got my phone for me. You cannot get any better than that, top marks and well done chaps.”
