Great shop with lots to offer

This shop is an absolute cracker, a hidden gem! As a 54 year old kid myself, the wife and I had nosey around. We were greeted by Martin and Annie and made to feel like old friends, even though it was our first visit.
Being somewhat of a petrol head and collector of model motorcycles and cars. I spotted a beautiful Scalextric Thunderbirds Fab 1 Roller with Lady Penelope and Parker sat inside.
Martin removed the piece from a secure cabinet, for me to inspect more closely. We discussed the quality of the car and the originality from the time of the show. Both agreeing on the sheer presentation and fine detailing of the item. I don't usually collect slot cars, however, being a huge fan of Scalextric as a young lad in the 70's and my obsession for model vehicles, it ticked every box!
Martin kindly put the model aside, to allow me time to consider the purchase. Later in the day, after lunch and a couple of pints, we strolled back to the shop. Again, greeted by Martin and Annie. My wife then bought it for me. It was a gift from her to me for our 30th Wedding anniversary.
Martin and I spent time discussing everything motorcycle and models, including radio controlled vehicles. Annie and my Mrs talking Lego gifts for our grown up kids.
Seldom it is nowadays that a personal buying experience is given in our high street shops. But my experience was different in this Aladdins Cave. It was so nice to be treated this way, from at first two strangers, to leaving the shop as friends.
Remember folks, yes, you can buy things online but never can you recreate shopping experiences like the above, when doing so.
High street sellers are suffering in today's times. So remember that they are there; support them and your local businesses. You never know, you just may enjoy their passion and knowledge of the things they sell.
As promised Martin, you are both welcome to visit us in Bonnie Scotland when the time is right. Thanks very much for making this big kid happy ?

Fabulous toy shop which we stumbled across by accident in Leominster yesterday.
Please support this shop if you can. It would be disastrous for Leominster if it were to lose such a wonderful shopping experience. The owner ( I think) was so friendly and helpful and so knowledgeable of what he was selling. The choice of good quality toys, models and games etc is immense.
A beautiful, INDEPENDENT high street shop which is such a rarity these days.
Five stars to MARTINS. Can?t wait to visit this delightful toy shop again.

Popped in today to enquire about a certain plastic model kit, had a great chat with the owners. An Aladins cave not only for model kits but a huge selection of jigsaw puzzles, soft toys, kids games and educational games. Christmas gifts for the grandchildren sorted ?

Not had a very good experience of this shop. Bought a few things whilst on holiday. One missing items in box and another which only just went to open is half used in box and been resealed.I called said I have to pay myself to send back or travel 160 miles to return. Very accusing on phone which has put me off returning the item as may never get a refund.Be very careful what you buy as obviously not everything is actually new!

Fabulous toy shop in the lovely market town of Leominster. Packed with toys, model kits, models, dolls and much more. A proper old school toy store. Would highly recommend. Staff were extremely helpful.

Visited martins models today and after 20 years it still gave me the excitement it did as a kid walking in! I now live in Dumfries, Scotland but I have fond memories visiting when I was young. Today I took my own little boys! To see their wee faces light up was so special to me! We bought some schleich animals, they have a fantastic collection of toys, at a great price! Highly recommend! Can?t wait to visit again ?
