“Stopped off here twice to buy food as we were staying at a local farm for 2 weeks. Great shop and Post Office, run by volunteers, all very friendly and very helpful, some limitations on food selection. The Gallery Café is also run by volunteers, which is located above the shop in the church, again very nice and friendly. Good quality cakes and coffees, at very good prices, light lunches are served on selected days, well worth a visit to support them all. Walking down to the shop we passed many locals, who too were very friendly and spoke, this is how a village community should be and other villages need to follow this example. We will certainly be back again. Thank you all for giving up your spare time to serve your community.”

“Excellent shop with excellent quality stock; superb Zubrowka Biała vodka, Geeta’s mango chutney, decent naans, Barefoot Merlot etc as well as all the usual convenience stuff at prices to beat Co-op. Not just a late milk/beer/bread shop; a good stockist of quality items! Friendly too and quick with parcels.”

“Due to a change of circumstance, I was left with no money for 2 weeks. Although not primarily for feeding the poor as it is a waste reduction service, it has enabled me to eat with no money.”

“A very useful, small co-op...understandably, products are limited compared to larger co-op stores, but a reasonable variety, nevertheless. Staff are friendly and helpfull, too.”
