Fabulous, truly fabulous cafe. Quality local ingredients, cooked incredibly well. Busy, Relaxed yet buzzing atmosphere. Recommended to book so you are not disappointed.

I am a frequent visitor to the Malthouse and can?t fault the attentive staff and atmosphere. However I ordered the mezze for 2 on Wednesday and was disappointed in the amount one got for 2 people. It neede more bread, hummus and feta for the 2 of us .

Lovely little place just off the main street. Not a standard menu by far, broad choices for hot drinks too. Managed to get a seat outside (was very busy) - best to book if you want to avoid disappointment, has indoor options too. Dessert options are quite extensive , you can always take it away for later ?

Lovely lunch, reasonable amount of choice and very nice surroundings. Coffee was very good. Service was a little slow but the place was very busy. Highly recommended. Suggest menu is marked as to what is gluten free, vegetarian, vegan etc.

Highly recommended if visiting Ledbury. I had the afternoon tea, which was delicious. The fruit scone was freshly baked, and came with clotted cream and homemade blackcurrant jam. The loose leaf breakfast tea was nice as well! Service was friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

Lovely setting. A limited vegan offering but they were friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Idyllic setting off a cobbled street in Ledbury.
The weather was good enough to sit outside in the sheltered garden.
We had American pancakes, which were delicious.
A surprise and delight feature was the vintage garments and items for sale upstairs.
Recommended.

Our first visit based on so many recommendations. Lovely friendly happy staff and a great atmosphere. The menu is just right in terms of choice. The cakes are amazing. Too much vinegar in the Hollandaise sauce but not so much sauce as to be inedible.

We visited this cafe based on the very positive reviews of others and were not disappointed. Lots on the menu and a number of nice cakes including chocolate and Guinness cake which was tasty. A number of gluten free sweet treats hit the spot for me and the gluten free cake I had was lovely was fresh which isnt always the case in my experience. Nice atmosphere too and reasonably priced. Would recommend to others!
