I can't remember ever entering a shop and feeling immediately happy, until last weekend. What a lovely little store. Tucked away in Ledbury, my wife and I stumbled across this beautiful store on a day trip accidentally. I wanted to buy literally everything. We settled for some Scandinavian slippers, soaps and sunnies.

Totally individual shop with some beautiful and interesting items to intrigue you. I went looking for another pair of Glerups (Danish slippers) my third pair over the past few years, and found the staff very helpful as always.

I ordered two Christmas presents online rather late in the day. They arrived in 3 working days, and free of charge too. Hus and Hem products are lovely and their customer service is exceptional. All in all, it is a real pleasure to do business with this small business.

A good selection of Glerups to choose from. Service is usually top notch but not quite so good this time (our third visit over last 3 years). I was made to feel as though I was a bit of an inconvenience. Lots of interesting things to look at but furniture range is no more, which is a shame. Plastic Carrier bags rather than paper which is a pity.

Hidden away up an alley, Hus and Hem is well worth visiting if you are in Ledbury. Lots of lovely Scandinavian fabric and other stuff too like interesting jigsaw puzzles, gorgeous Danish wool slippers ( I am on my second pair, I love them so much) and random Scandi things. They have a website too if Ledbury isn't convenient. Check it out!

What amazing customer service! We first visited the shop five years ago to buy Glerups felt slippers, for both of us. This Christmas my wife bought me a new pair; I was delighted. Sadly on Monday I noticed that the heel stitching was becoming unraveled. So on Tuesday I photographed the slipper and contacted Hus & Hem. Here I am just two days later with a new pair delivered to our house. No hassle no problems explaining or having to return the original pair. Extraordinary service both from Glerups and the Shop in Ledbury.Well done and thank you. John Z Fairford. Gloucestershire.

Having found this beautiful store last month and purchased a fab Bluetooth Speaker, I wanted to purchase another for a gift. I called the store today and received great service from the young lady that I had previously met in the store who helped me choose another. What to say. The shop is a delight, full of beautiful things. Looking forward to going back to see latest additions to the stock.During lockdown I ordered online on two occasions and received the goods the following day, each time.The jigsaws are some of the best I?ve seen and made ideal gifts for friends and family during some difficult times. My Glerups slippers are now firm favourites and I will be buying as gifts in the future.Other companies should watch and learn.Small gift shop but oh so beautifully formed. Thanks.
