When I joined a knitting club there, they were extremely rude accusing people like me of a baby mind which made me give up going as I could tell when they were messing with me bullying me making me uncomfortable as they were treating other people my age with an adult mind. I wasn?t going to allow them any more chance to make me lose my self esteem as they never listened to my feelings (they were constantly hurting me) my life has been much better since I haven?t been to that service so I will never go again

Just terrible the owner/lady behind the counter took the order then proceeded to tell us she had taken an order for a table upstairs and for us to just sit
Soon came the coffees without the cake, then I was asked to move my chair so that she cloud clear another table. She left again?
Then Came back to clear the other table - piled all the dirty dishes onto a tray and guess where she left it? On my table ?
I moved it.
All round horrible service, dirty grubby Little place run by two members of staff that are utterly clueless.

Horrible. Waited very long for a hot chocolate and late. Both drinks not nice and we both had cake with that. It looked like it had been left out a very long time and the older lady who works there came downstairs and threw all of the other cakes left in the bin.(wish implied that they had been there long.) me and the lady I was with discussed leaving and the younger lady overheard and was stood whispering about us to the older lady we could hear them. So overall not a nice experience would never visit again. (Not to mention tables were filthy)

Went to the Corner House on 6th April. The lady took our order but seemed not to be concentrating and had to ask again for our order.
Our main problem was how unkind she was to the young girl who was working there. It seemed as though the girl was just learning the job but was constantly criticised and told what she should
be doing. Unfortunately this was done rather loudly and in front of us and other customers instead of taking her to the side and explaining nicely. The young girl seemed very pleasant but unfortunately the older woman was not. We will not return

Cosy place, service good. Food OK, good portions. Minor niggles, my plate was soaking with water from my poached eggs. I used the napkin to soak up. Young waitresses pleasant but clearing a table next to us, didn't think to wipe it down! It was then occupied. Also observed people come in, were not greeted or encouraged to come in, so they left!
Wheelchair accessibility: Not suitable due to stairs, but could sit outside in fair weather

chefs mini breakfast includes a Revolting Sausage with this £7.95 breakfast , it's inedible ! the plate is filled with 75% beans and you get one fried egg and one round of toast . Awful, I'd never dine there again!

The house is very old and built about 14th century as so think. All staff is friendly, fastest service and rooms is very good hygiene but disappointed I can?t go upstair to the restroom against knee osteoarthritis.

Nice little place to grab breakfast, bit of a wait for milkshakes but fine however they weren?t exactly cold but friendly staff and delicious food! And think my dog loved the dogs ice cream I brought him home !
