A great treasure trove of tasteful delights. I wanted to buy everything! Great selection and great value. A must when in Ledbury?

Although this is essentially a design and design furnishing studio, it's worth a visit for the architectural style of the building, squeezed into a narrow alley-way, it's a stunning fish scale aluminium/tin clad entrance and glass and steel interior. Really beautiful.

Try to shop locally, I have purchased items in this shop quite recently, my friends were visiting so took them in, sorry I did, ignorant beyond words, in future I will purchase Emma Bridgewater products online, at least there I get a thank you email.

What could have been a lovely shop ruined by and obnoxious old man who likes shouting at children and made them cry, what had they done you may ask ...They had the audacity to look at a keyring that he had on display .

This shop has some lovely items for sale, however, the owner of this shop is the most obnoxious man I have ever met.How is this rude and arrogant man running a shop in this beautiful town of Ledbury. This must put off lots of visitors and potential customers

Would like to leave zero stars, but unable to do so! Visited today 24/11/15 with my friend. Doorway was blocked by owner when we tried to enter:we said we'd like to browse, but the owner sarcastically said we could buy if we wanted to! We were then interrogated, asking where we were from and what we were looking for and what made us want to go into his shop. All very weird! Although it was a very interesting shop, there was nothing we were interested in buying. On leaving he asked us why we didn't buy,so I replied that at our age, we have most things! I left the shop and my friend followed, and as she did he said that we might have most things,BUT NOT CLASS!!! He was sooooo rude. Although my friend was very upset, we carried on with our shopping, and went into a shop opposite, The gentleman welcomed us in to browse; my friend explained that she was still upset by the man across the road.. He immediately guessed the shop was Butler and Sweatman and explained that we had not been singled out, but many a person has been insulted by this man and that many people had complained about his rude behaviour. Apparently He had been told about his manner, but nothing changes. It is a great shamethat this man can deter visitors to shopping in Ledbury.

I agree with the previous review , the owner is extremely rude. I walked into the shop with my ice cream and the minute I walked in , the owner almost jumped and placed his hand on my shoulder and chased me out of the shop. Rather than telling me that I could not eat in the shop , he was using hand gesture indicating that I am not allowed to eat because he assumed I could not speak English as I am not white. I told him I could speak English. He said if you bought an ice cream at the other cafe you should stay and eat it there. I have never felt more humiliated in my life with someone doing hand gesture and chasing me out of a shop.
