I am not sure I can add to the excellent reviews already posted in relation to Rhodds Barn. The barn itself is unlike any other place we have stayed; full of character, books and other evidence of the owner's eclectic tastes, including a working Wurlitzer that got some of our party on their dancing feet. The setting is wonderful and the garden a treat in itself; it genuinely matches Sissinghurst for its impact and beauty. The barn does not have the latest of everything that you might see in rental properties in, say, Cornwall, but is none the worse for that. The Barn is a great base to explore Herefordshire, with Hergest Ridge being a wonderful walk and the garden/arboretum at Hergest Croft a fantastic collection. Hay-on-Wye and Hereford are not too far away to visit and each well worth the effort.

This is our third stay at Rhodds Barn. The barn is spacious, full of character and relaxing. The gardens are delightful and you can enjoy a walk in the picturesque woodland area. Richard and Cary are wonderful hosts. Elaine who works in the office is warm and friendly. The barn is very well equipped for all your needs. There is even a thoughtful welcome pack on arrival - milk, bread, butter, bacon, bottle of wine and a generous fruit bowl. Richard and Cary have three gorgeous dogs - Kandy, Crocus and Lulu. Their daily visits to the barn were a real highlight for us. Nearby Kington is just minutes away by car or you can walk into Kington from the barn through the fields. Plenty to do nearby and further afield. We leave rejuvenated and cannot wait to return. Highly recommend. Jackie and Jock.

Superb gardens with stunning planting - a tapestry of colour and design. One of the best gardens I have visited. Peaceful and relaxing. Thank you Cary and Richard.
