Drinks and bar snacks were over priced in my opinion - £7.50 for 2 halves of cider and a packet of scratchings! ?.
Barman was not rude but not very friendly. The manager arrived as we were leaving and first impression was that he seemed friendly enough.

We decided to have Sunday lunch here as we were staying at Arrow Bank holiday park. Well credit where credit is due it was one of the nicest Sunday lunch's we have had in a long while. The member of staff (Chip) who looked after us was so polite and professional as was the owner, they both deserve our thanks. This will be one place we will visit on our return to this location.

A very welcome hearty supper in a warm and friendly pub. The landlord was welcoming, the service excellent. Our dog was made very welcomed and she made many doggie friends.

Although the menu was somewhat limited, the quality was excellent, with the portion sizes being very generous indeed.

Visited twice while staying in the village, it?s a proper pub, very welcoming and friendly, and great proper pub food at reasonable prices! The pub itself is lovely and traditional and how a country village pub should be, can?t fault it!

We randomly picked this pub, and what a great local pub it was. The owner was a great laugh &some great Banta was had with locals. Some real characters, to say the least. They had a fine local Ale ? called the Black Grouse.
I recommend The White Swan if you like a good laugh and are able to take a joke.
Swing by if you're in the area & say hello to Tim.
They serve food, and I will have to give it a go on my next visit.

Lovely local pub in the beautiful village of Eardisfield. A very accommodating landlord. A wake was in progress so staff member very busy but found time to ensure we were catered for as visitors. 2 medium wines and 2 sandwiches £26.

Went in for drinks and maybe lunch. There was a non existent welcome from the bar person, I came to the opinion that we?d interrupted something. We were obviously late for Sunday dinner, so that wasn?t an option. I ordered our drinks, my pint needed a top up, as the pint measure is too the top of the glass, not an inch below (bring back imperial glasses) I asked if he would mind topping it up, he begrudgingly did so. The atmosphere in the pub was non existent, so we didn?t bother having another drink, and left once we?d finished our drinks. We wouldn?t go there again.
