I have recently had an issue with items that I purchased from the Hereford store as presents and was getting no where with the company. I approached Fran, the manager for help with getting a refund. To be honest she was nothing other than amazing, and did not give up until she had completely sorted out the issue. I had regular phone calls from her at every step of the way to let me know what was going on, and is so so friendly. I can not thank her enough, and have never met a manager ever that has been this helpful.

It's great that WH Smith is still alive, unlike many other well known high street chains. However I find this shop fairly expensive, the emphasis is on self service and the post office at the rear is horrible.

We had a very positive experience with Helen the manager of the post office yesterday as she spent ages helping us with the little known ?Poste Restante? service. She was really helpful and diligent and we think she should be recognised for it. Well done

Never any staff. Post office is standardly useless in terms of queues, service and the weirdly high prices for a post office.
