Went here to buy some wood but I needed it cut there and then but was told the ONLY GUY who can cut it for me was on the sick a big company like them and 1 person cuts wood...needless to say I couldn't buy it from there

Despite having been taken over by a larger firm, they have maintained their standard of service.Reasonable prices, even for the little guy without an account.Helpful staff with a can do attitude.Will often confirm a specific query about a product by going out into the yard to check. Have been able to add something to an existing order at short notice as long as the lorry hadn't been loaded and space permitting.The drivers have always done an excellent job for me, despite my difficult location. Free and fast delivery with no minimum order, although I try not to take the mickey.

Delivered items to the wrong house and the driver left them in the open for anyone to pick up or steal. Had the driver bothered to ring the phone number that was on the invoice (that he left by the panels) or even knocked on the door he would have known that it was the wrong place. Just shockingly lazy.

Any issues have now been resolved.On 3 occasions I?ve been to the roofing dept & on each occasion I?ve left thinking I must remember never to go there again! The lack of enthusiasm is incredible & I want to shout if you don?t enjoy your job go and do something else. I?m doing a sizeable self build but really resent given you any more money. I?m all for buying local but these employees definitely need a lesson on customer service.
