Any conveniences are a drive away (it?s on a main road with no footpaths nearby) so please bear that in mind. What all the reviews so about the breakfast is accurate (it?s a small, overpriced box) and staff including Maria were friendly and helpful. Zero signal in my room so be willing to pay for wifi.

RIP OFF HOTEL! DO NOT STAY HERE, YOU'LL REGRET IT!
Paid in advance for a breakfast then found out in the morning it's a small bagged cereal breakfast which I have allergies to, so I declined to accept it. Staff would not and did not refund the price I paid for the breakfast. Gave me a premium rate number to complain to, so I hung up immediately.
30 mins free WiFi is a joke. There's no mobile signal in the hotel so was forced to pay £3.50 for a WiFi pass.
Tea bags and milk rationed per room.
Very noisy from the busy road if you leave the window open which affects sleep.
No fan in the wet room/ toilet to extract odours. ?

1st experience of a Travelodge, it was ok.
Rooms clean and smelt nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Beds and pillows were comfortable.
Unfortunately no hairdryer in room (had to be requested) £3.50 for 24hrs WiFi when advertised as £3.
Postcode on sat nav was incorrect, opposite sides of road, we arrived in the dark and no street light could easily miss it.
Blackout curtains were good but where we had 2 additional beds for my children The one closet to the window had light shining on his face all morning around the edge of the curtains and the banging from guests (which i know the hotel cant help) went on all night long.
Rooms were clean and spacious and plenty of lights.

On arrival, there was plenty of parking free, no charge. I've been to this hotel before, and it was quite run down, but this time, around it was much better it's had a big refurbishment. All rooms are updated very nice staff were friendly and helpful the only problem was no where to eat next to the hotel but would definitely recommend coming back ?

Great value for a short stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything went smoothly. Nothing major to complain about ? perfect if you?re looking for an affordable and decent place for the night.

Room lacking shelves, work surfaces. Had to put belongings on the floor. Reception had no top up teabags sugar etc on the counter. No one on reception desk most of the time to ask for supplies. Felt it was being run down, probably to be sold maybe ?

Travelodges are very good value for money,I think if we're going for a one night stop they are a great idea, this particular one Grafton had a great view,we had a very good stop.

No full breakfast box contains tub cornflakes small carton milk 2 bars high protein to eat and small bottle of water bedroom a good size warm and clean bathroom was ok but to tight for a person of a large size if the bathroom was I metre wider it would much better and it would not alter the bedroom . Would I stay there again I dont think so you need taxis in and out of town if you fancy a meal and drink

Room very basic. Permanent rust mark covering half the bath, so couldn't us it. Marked duvet. Had to pay £50 for food as nowhere to eat. Delivered only through just eat.

Just stayed for 1 night..the room was what you would expect for a budget hotel..although not a budget price after the cost of £20 per dog!! The bathroom definitely needed a refurbishment, and looked and felt unclean..make up wipe or something similar on the floor..a pedal bin that was rusty and broken..white bits on the floor and rust in the bath...floors outside very creaky they wake you every time someone walks past.

I've not stayed with Travelodge for quite a while. Now I remember why.
Location. I've given it 3 stars because it was exactly on the route I needed. But if I was a tourist then there isn't anything within walking distance. No food, no pub, no shops.
The room. When I booked it said it was an updated and upgraded room. It might have been refurbished but all the electrical sockets are loose, the floor in my room (ground floor), the corridor and the rooms above all squeak badly, rust and mould in the bath room and the shower pours water on the floor. The sheets were fresh but not perfectly cleaned.
Service. I think the person on reception is Eeyore's grumpier sister.
I won't be back and I'll be avoiding Travelodge
