We travelled to Hereford for the Ferrous Festival and our first visit to the city.Very pleased to find the hotel easily and be able to park so conveniently.We were greeted by the very interesting, quirky and expansive entrance and that set the scene for our stay.Checked in early to drop off bags and get ready for our day of forging and feasting at the Ferrous Festival - we stayed in a Luxury Double on the second floor, and what a room!Everything was clean and the room felt huge. The bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept on in a hotel, with various thickness pillows to choose from, which meant we slept...and very well!We chose to go for the buffet breakfast and there were plenty of options, all of which were fresh and flavourful. Plus the staff were great too.In summary:*Great central location with parking*Fantastically comfortable room*Welcoming staff*Good quality food*Would/will stay again*Highly recommendThank you, Green Dragon Hotel!

There for a drink and draw evening, (life drawing), would recommend if anyone is in the area. Lovely atmosphere, good, quiet bars with knowledgeable staff.

My partner stayed at this establishment and was impressed with the waiting staff wearing white gloves for service (a rare treat). All in all excellent food, service and price (compared to prices down south!). The room had character but hot water could only be accessed at set times for baths. Otherwise, highly recommended. Bravo!

Had a sandwich lunch here and very poor indeed!Didn't stay overnight so cannot comment on roomsWe sat in the Garrick lounge..dirty tables & an unbelievably dirty carpetWe would not use the Green Dragon Hotel againFood & drinks: Poor venue for food

Characterful hotel. A little bit dated in places but lovely none the less.Nearby activities: You have the Cathedral, Black and White House, Cider Museum and much more all within walking distance, all of the mentioned ones are worth a visitWalkability: Right in the heart of the city, just a couple of minutes walk from all the main sightsFood & drinks: Breakfast was excellent. Well worth it.

Got back to hotel at 10.20 after a meal out in Hereford. A few people in the bar, we thought we would have a nightcap! Although we're residents staff would not serve us a drink because they had an incident. Didn't say what the incident was but no staff to serve us a drink.Won't be staying here again.Rooms: Ok

My wife and I got married here in September. It was the best day of our lives- Heidi, Katie and their team made sure everything ran smoothly and all of our guests had a blast!Would highly recommend if you?re thinking of having a wedding in a classic location with close proximity to town and the cathedral.Thanks

Hotel was okay, but be wary of the parking. We registered the car with the front desk as the machine was down and have wound up with a £100 parking charge notice from Euro Parking Services who denied our appeal because the desk lost the paper they recorded the vehicle registration on.
