Lovely Inn, staff friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to accommodate our every need (letting us check-in earlier, opening the restaurant area and serving us tasty food even though the restaurant do not usually open on a Sunday evening) Great service, lovely clean rooms with everything you could need (even Radox for a relaxing bath ?). Would definitely return.

Lovely place close to Oldfield Forge. Comes with a delicious breakfast included. Delightful room (sun) with large bathroom and a bath which we greatly appreciated after the sore muscles from trying our hand at blacksmithing.
Loved the whole experience, especially with the beautiful area in the spectacular English summer
Also enjoyed visiting Castle Goodrich nearby.

We loved our stay at the Moon. We chose it because it's close to Oldfield Forge, but we would certainly go back. I particularly loved the ode to their local history. The rooms included a booklet all about their history, which was enjoyable to read. However, there were also small details around the pub such as medieval 'knights templar' themed sconces. The pub was incredibly friendly, we would feel comfortable returning with our children next time. The rooms had more than anything we could possibly need. Overall, I don't have a single bad word to say. I would recommend the Moon to anybody :)

What a great little find. 5 minutes from Oldfield Forge where I am spending 3 days. Ash and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Room (Stars) is very comfortable, comfy bed, nice bathroom and a decent shower. Breakfast is very good, lots of options.....the full English is lovely. The Moon burger was really good served with very crispy fries. Google maps had me on single track roads for a fair while to get there so watch your speed.

We enjoyed a 2 night stay at the absolutely stunning Garway Moon Inn. The room we stayed in was clean and spacious and the views from the window were incredible. We stayed at the Inn as we were attending a sword making course at the Oldfield Forge and as the day ran long we were worried that we might not make it back in time to eat but the staff were brilliant and accommodating and luckily we were back in time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The morning that we were leaving the staff told us about the beautiful Templar Church and the wild Orchids and again both of these were out of this world. We loved every second of our visit and intend to go back soon. Thank you Garway Moon Inn and all your amazing Staff!

What a great countryside pub and such amazing service. I stopped here after finishing my walk around Kent church and around and couldn't have made a better choice. Seems like a favorite with local families and the owners are really nice and friendly too. The stout was fresh and delicious. Obviously the prices, service and quality put my London pubs to shame. Loved it and will try to come back here.

Small very friendly pub and restaurant. Staff were amazing and very friendly and couldn?t do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We ate in the restaurant and food was delicious portions were huge!! Bedroom was comfortable and really spacious really beautifully decorated too. Highly recommend staying here.

If you're looking for a rural countryside location, perfectly situated for a host of rural walks, or if you're visiting the nearby forge, this is the perfect place.
The bedrooms are gorgeous, mixing the old character of the building, with the modern day.
My only complaint would be that the WiFi signal was a bit spotty at times in the bedroom.
The food here is also fantastic. Although the menu is small, what they do cook was super tasty, beautifully presented, and great value. The fish and chips and shwarma were both amazing!
Most importantly, though, the service was brilliant. Such wonderfully friendly and helpful people.

Basic pub food, service a bit chaotic. Some dishes ok, some chips cold other food nice. Not much choice. Pot luck.
