Our Christmas Eve tradition was ruined! For the past 14 years we?ve taken the kids to Pizza Hut on Christmas Eve.Tonight we were turned away (despite phoning ahead to say we would be there) They were apparently too busy??only 2 other families in there!!
Nando?s were VERY accommodating !!!

Xmas Eve, I phoned at 3pm to check it was open as six of us planned to come at 6pm. I was assured that would be fine. We travelled 23 miles and was informed on arrival they were too busy with takeaways. I told the staff member I had phoned before coming, and she said, No, there are only drinks. She then just walked away leaving us shocked and hugely disappointed. We have ate at various Pizzahuts for many years, but never before encountered such poor behaviour, lack of customer care, and basically laziness.
It will take some doing to restore my confidence in the brand.

Lazy employees, we phones to say we were arriving at 6pm and they said there was no need to book. We were turned away because they were ?too busy? there was only two family?s in there. Pizza Hut sucks

We called in advance but when we got there after driving from Worcester we were told they had no pizza. Awful service. We will not be coming back. We went to Nandos instead, much more accomodating.

Awful. Paid for extra cheese and had this pathetic excuse of a pizza. I don?t know why is was cut up like an absolute mess either. Manager didn't want to know and deflected blame onto us as the customer for collecting pizzas. Wasn?t happy to provide a refund. Pizzas were Luke warm and dry. Hardly any cheese but happy to take our money when we paid for extra cheese. It infuriates me that they are quick and happy to take peoples money but hand out total crap.

Spot on Pizza Hut. Looks to have reverted to human service at table, which works better for me personally, but the QR codes are still on the tables (I don't know if they still work.)
Our hostess / waitress / server / whatever the correct term is these days (Robbie?) was great: charming and friendly and the service was great. Sadly, I didn't get the opportunity to tell her this at the time, because she went off shift between the dessert arriving and us paying and leaving.
The pizzas were great: pepperoni and nduja was excellent as was the GOAT; just make sure you do actually like goat's cheese before picking this one as there's a decent amount on there!
My one suggestion: the machine for the bottomless drinks is stuffed away in a corner where it feels just a bit poorly lit. I understand why you'd keep it out of the way as it's a money pit if people keep going back and actually having bottomless drinks, but it does feel especially like someone is trying to keep the punters away.
Pro tip: the car park isn't massive and some of the spaces aren't all that big so, if you have a larger vehicle, getting sorted can be ... challenging. Interestingly, there's a slight ambiguity with the middle space of the disabled bays: there's no disabled indicator on the ground so I'm not quite sure if it's actually a disabled space, or not.
Anyway, none of these things take away from the fact that this is definitely one of the best Pizza Huts I've visited and would happily go back next time I'm in the area.
Parking: Car park isn't massive and can be quite tight if you have a larger vehicle.

Dropped in for an impromptu visit, mid-journey. Cerys was very polite and helpful, service was swift and ordering was straightforward. Recommended!
