I?m only rating this place on the service on this review, which was terrible.
Booked a table for three for 7:30. Arrived in time, was asked to take a seat and was sat there for 20 full minutes with no apology for the delay. A group of ten, whom we knew a few people, that turned up AFTER us and booked a table for the same time as us was seated?.we were ignored.
We gave the guy seating people reasonable time, but unfortunately we were not granted reasonable service. Won?t be going here again.

Staff are lovely, food average,lots of little extras ,all for free. Hot towels,orange slices, viennetta dessert, plate of sweets- jelly babies,bonbons , chocolates and glasses of Baileys if you wanted it.
Lots of loud birthday celebrations but rather noisy if you wanted to be able to talk to other people on your table.
Prices good.

Be careful with your bill.
We were a party of 8 on a Saturday. Good experience. Food was very good but few of our dishes came out a but cold. The menu had a good selection of dishes. Complementary things at the end. The main issue was the bill. They had added an extra £70 to our bill which we couldn't figure out where it came from. We assumed a service charge was added on but it was definitely still too much. When the server came over to the table they suggest putting a larger number which i did think was a bit rude Be careful with your bill.

Not bad, concept is a little different with a few freebies thrown in. Dish presentation leaves a lot to be desired and curries look very similar and tend to be overly sweet. Would recommend going in the week as they get very busy at the weekend.

We had booked a table for this restaurant and when we arrived they could not find our booking. We were asked to take a seat and they just left us for 15 minutes. Nobody came back to up date us so we left!

Went with my mate 9th November the food was great and the service brilliant just at the end we asked for bill the chap brought it over then a older chap came over looked at the bill 49.21 we had left 50 on the tray he said is that it 79 pence tip we said yes we about give the actual waiter the tip who has been serving us not sure if he was the owner looked like it spoilt the end of the meal but we gave the tip to the chap who served us be careful seems he was trying to pinch it on the other feller

I was really disappointed with the food, service and atmosphere. I had paneer curry which had about 5 pieces of paneer, the rest was boiled potatoes and beans. When I'm paying the same price as a meat dish I would have hoped for more paneer, less boiled vegetables added to the sauce. It was also incredibly sweet. Our starters took 50 minutes between ordering and arrival. We asked to order more drinks when our mains arrived (they were much faster than the starters thankfully) but no one came to take our order. So we finished our food, paid and left. Definitely will not return.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are dreadful

If I could score higher I would. Working in hospitality myself I know how challenging a day can be. But these guys go above and beyond with service. I have never been to a restaurant in Hereford where I feel so welcome, it?s always spotless clean, the food is so full of flavour. I always recommend my team to come here to learn about customer service. Well done Marygold. Great food and fantastic service as always.

The food was absolutely gorgeous, but the customer service from the people who worked there was absolutely shocking! They are so rude! And we were there 3 hours waiting for a starter and a main.

Prawn Tikka marsala was very disappointing, tasted great but a few prawns in a bowl of sauce with nothing else. All the freebies are appreciated though.

Absolutely fantastic experience tonight.
Booked a table for 2 last minute, and it was very busy when we arrived, so we were offered a quieter place to eat in the restaurant which was very considerate.
Poppadoms, dips and chutneys came out first, then we ordered our starters of chicken shishlack, followed by mains of Chicken Bhuna, Jalfrezi, and 2 varieties of rice.
All of the food tasted incredible. Excellent service from the servers, and they couldn't do enough for us. It was such a wonderful taste bud experience. We were given complimentary fresh orange slices, hot face towels, and chocolate mints as we left.
It all came to under £40! Such wonderful value. I can't rate this restaurant higher than 5* but it's worth so much more.
Do yourself a favour, visit them as soon as you have a spare evening. It's well worth the delightful experience ?
