Don't know what they are thinking absolutely no customer service. After being closed for a month the only change is worse, reduced counters, reduced staffing levels no customer service desk. There were 23 people waiting yesterday ( 3 walked out in disgust) for service and it seemed like only one person trying to work, and she was overwhelmed. 2 others wondering about looking lost and one being trained with something. Really not helpful. Our time is also precious and I don't appreciate waiting over 30min to be seen. As a small business we need a counter service as the machines can't help especially when they decided not to work.

PATHETIC. To the point of criminal. Cannot get access to account a 2 hr call a visit to two branches. Emails not even sent or delivered from them AWFUL to the point of embarressment.

So my partner tried to open a savings account on the app which it just buffers continously. Tried it on the laptop incase it was the phone but same thing happened. Left it a couple of days and still same thing just buffers and nothing loads up. Go into store to ask to set it up there and was very rudely spoken to by Andrew, it seemed a massive inconvenience that we even dare walk into the bank to ask for a simple request. Bearing in mind there was only 1 other customer in the bank so there was no excuse the way we was dealt with. Anyway said the lady who deals with accounts isn't in and he booked us an appointment for Tuesday 8th of March. No pleasantries or even a smile.My partner called in to say she couldn't make the appointment due to family reasons. When the guy answered the phone assuming it was the same person we saw in store as they sounded the same then I'm amazed he even has a job.We could hear him crystal clear when he was saying he couldn't hear her. Yet you could hear my partners voice on the other end! In the end he just put the phone down and then today my partner gets a text saying she missed her appointment.I know banks aren't always the best one easiest to deal with but this is some of the worst customer service I've seen and had to deal with.After this my partner is closing her accounts and moving to another bank. This one is one to avoid.

Only a 1 star because 0 isn't an option!Tried 4 times last week to contact Hereford branch on the telephone to book an appointment, for something that online banking said we needed to go in to branch for. After approx 30 mins each time with no reply, we decided to bite the bullet and go to branch on the weekend.Went armed with every form of ID, bank details, passports, driving licence, utility bills etc etc, in attempt to cover everything that we would need to add my name to my wife's existing account, in order to put all our savings in to one account we both could access.We queued for around 20 mins before being able to speak with an adviser, to be told "you need to book an appointment, we cant help you today"You'd have a job, they don't answer the phone!We asked to book an appointment for next weekend to be told "there are no appointments until April, we are open 9-5 in the week you know"Like most people, we work during the week, should you really have to take a day off work for a bank to add your name to an account?Thanks LLoyds, you couldn't be more unhelpful.

Paid a cheque in. Over a week later got a letter to say the cheque had failed. 35 minutes on the phone to Lloyds general to be told the problem was that the cashier hadn't scanned it correctly! Have now missed a car I wanted to buy because the cheque didn't clear in time.

absolute poor. would not recomend. cant even clear a cheque without sending it back. they don't answer the phone. always a 20 minute waiting to speak to someone. the international cheque department are shocking. havent answered a single call after trying them for 2 days over 15 calls and always got told to ring them back. this is absolute poor.

Lovely building and open plan inside. Staff are helpful, only downside is they often only have a couple of cashiers open, be prepared to queue!

After 35 years, accounts are being closed because of brexit. Lloyds has shown a complete inability to provide customer service. No support at all in finding alternatives.
