“The hotel is very nice and every room is a little bit different and special. In general I would say you will experience a very cozy place with a taste of traditional old style. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was very good, you could order what you wanted to have and they had from very light options until more heavy options. The location is just some steps away from the main church or cathedral in Hereford and of course very close to many restaurants, pubs, stores, etc.The normal prices are a little bit high if compere some prices around the area but the place worth it I think you will it find another place like this in Hereford. They have on the back of the hotel a green area with a small river, for the sunny days is really nice to seat and have some beers, tea, snacks, food, etc.”

“Favorite place of all. Been there several times through the last 30 years. An original place. Great location if you want to go fishing in the River Wye, or hiking or just explore the beautiful landscape. The staff is very kind and helpful and the food is excellent. Looking forward to our next stay.”

“I went here on my own and the manager was friendly. The staff make you feel welcome. Great smoking garden, good selection of drinks but some real ale would be good to see there, just a suggestion. Two pool tables, dart board and some gambling machines. Might not be a noteworthy pub but certainly a nice place compared to some places in Hereford.”

“I’ve stayed here before, but tonight was just an impromptu evening visit to see if their food was everything I recalled it to be. It is! No need to book tonight, prompt and courteous service, an exquisite rack of lamb, an interesting and delicious cheeseboard, and a glass of a very well kept port. But whilst I highly commend the food and wine, it is the service that really makes Foyles an outstanding restaurant. It’s a venue where a standard that most fine dining establishments strive for is routinely achieved regardless of who is serving you, or which manager or chef is on duty. Perfection is hard to achieve, but visit Foyles and you will experience it happen around you. Enjoy!Tim Joiner, Past Lord Mayor, City of Westminster”

“The service was great; a warm welcome from reception and other staff members. The location was perfect as it's within a 10 minute walking distance of the town centre, and over the road from Sainsbury's.Free parking on site, plenty of spaces during our stay.Easy check in & check out.Loses a star because the bathroom really needs an extractor fan. The toilet is also positioned in an awkward way; right next to the unlockable door.I highly recommend staying here.”
