We have used the wash house for years for appliances, and wouldn?t go anywhere else. I would definitely pay more for the customer service and knowledge you get, but they?re usually cheaper than the big chain guys. The customer service is always second to none, they can?t do enough to help you. Thank you once again and see you for the next one!! Thank you for helping us with order number 709949.

NEVER AGAINLatest update: number of calls from the purported owner including threatening defammation proceedings for this review...a review that is totally accurate. Your choice, but do you really want to deal witha company that behaves and escalates in such a manner? Claims they will refund installation charge now but them makes defammatory claims I am stopping them!Update:they rang me trying to get me to remove this review. If I did so they would refund installation charge. Naturally I refused. Seems they don't want you to know.Had real problems with paid for fitting of a dishwasher..though courteous, lots of whinging and did not complete job. Sought refund of installation charge only.Lets start with positives...shop staff excellent , knowlegeable, not pushy..prices same as 'sheds'.Problem came with fitting. Arrived timely then immediately complained about parking...no problem a trees surgeon with chipper had been in same space earlier.We had prepared kitchen ...I suspect much more than others do...removed plinth, taken out panels etc., protectively covered adjacent units.Difficulty removing old machine...which I understood...had been there a long time. Too ready to give up..it just needed finesse. Then, even before trying, complained would not new one in .Overtly keen to give up and apparently leave machine in middle of kitchen.....'we have been here too long..have to get to next appointment'. Actually they had been less than 30 mins. (see other reviews about 'rushed' attitude). Again with my encouragement and a bit of thought got it in. Next argued about decor door fitting...never did it...claimed it was too big and needed cutting down. I fitted it later..just need trimming of lower cupboard side.Rushed off ...in such a hurry first left guarantee/ instruction manual in machine which they had put on a test cycle. Also appear from diagrams to have taken some door fitting items.One wonders why if so late they then parked up within sight for some time...perhaps did not want to be early for next job.

We had a very good engineer come to fit a part to our fridge freezer which was fine we were charged for the parts, labour and call-out. we also asked for the Bosch oven grill to be checked, the engineer looked at it and said a power cut had altered the clock setting and then reset it for us. There was a misunderstanding about a further charge but the Washhouse corrected this without delay so we are very pleased and will continue to highly recommend them to our friends for their sales and service.With many thanks and best wishes.

Called on Friday afternoon as soon as washing machine died, offered a delivery Monday morning. Good price (as good if not better than Curry's etc), installed in 20 minutes, rubbish and old machine taken away. Perfect.

No problem with ordering, Jan and Colin were great. Purchased a fridge and a built in oven, but the fitters just want to get home asap. Both appliances could have been fitted better and they could have been more helpful, in too much of a rush, in the end an engineer was called.

Very pleased with the service provided and would have no hesitation in buying from The Wash House in the future.My old machine developed a fault - the engineer came out the next day to look at it. Unfortunately, it was not repairable but he checked the website for me to see what was available, including reconditioned models.The salesman in store was also very helpful in showing me different models and explaining the various benefits of each. They were able to deliver and install a new machine within a few days and on each occasion someone called between 8 and 9 am to advise a 2 hour timeslot for their visit. Also received a courtesy call a few days after the new machine was delivered to check that all was okay.

Bought a Bosch dishwasher from helpful lady in Hereford store. Borrowed a sack truck and it was easy to drop off old Siemens dishwasher and pick up new Bosch in same trip.
