Booked for an ear piercing, turned up the shop was shut. They had my contact details but didn?t bother to contact or cancel the appointment. Took me over 40minutes to drive there and paid for parking all for nothing. Won?t bother again

I booked online for my daughter to have her ears pierced she was so excited! When I booked online I chose 18ct gold plated earrings and the after care kit for £31 ( yes it is on the website as I second guessed myself and checked when I got home) arrived at claires to be told I could only choose the earrings from the box they had, even the stainless steels were in the £30 range.. The gold would have been between 80 and 90! I had to walk away with a very upset 6 year old. The lady in the shop said they don't do gold for that cheap and it may have been in another store ( the website allowed me to book the earrings we wanted and knowing it would be at the hereford store) we went to super drug where they saw to the piercing straight away! £30 for 24ct gold studs, piercing and aftercare kit! Also my daughter had a sticker and a certificate, much better experience and not a rip off

I went to Claire's in Hereford to get my cartlidge pierced. I was a bit anxious, thinking it would be painful. The manageress who's name I didn't catch, made me feel so relaxed, she talked me through the process and after carefully preparing my ear for piercing she went ahead and pierced my cartlidge. I didn't feel a thing, only a click of the piercing gun. She was very professional. I went back the next day and had another one done and again, no pain and was professionaly treated.Thank you Claire's for employing polite and courteous staff.

Went here to look at hair accessories, they have a good selection and I got some bits I wanted.The reason for my 3 star review links really to a couple of things -It was a Sunday and only 1 member of staff working, that's ok until said member of staff is also the same one doing ear piercing so anyone buying items from the shop has to wait while the peircing takes place. I don't mind waiting but the piercing was taking a considerable amount of time due to the below.Ear piercing - when I was in there a couple brought their 5 year old in to have her ears peirced, she'd begged for them for her birthday, so the member of staff does all relevant checks and goes through everything perfectly, gets to the point of piercing and the girl gets upset and scared so the couple and the member of staff tries to pacify the girl and explain to her about it all and how pretty she will look, offering her the Teddy to cuddle etc. But this goes on for some time and it's clear the girl was finding it overwhelming and at several points said she didn't want to do it anymore. I left at this point as the member of staff had served me but it put me off suggesting people use Claires for piercing children's ears.

Came the other day with my mother in law and got a nose piercing done by such a lovely lady. Made me feel at ease. Helped after to find certain nose rings. So helpful and nice.
