Sold a couple of playstations, games and controllers the other week and it was a straight forward process and the money was in my bank within the first working day. Good service, I would just say the process of the guy inputting the details instore does take an age.

What a bunch of rude and miserable staff,a strange bunch. One member I think his name is Paul with long hair is nice friendly chap but if I stick my head through the door and don't see him I don't bother going in as the rest of them are rude and some smelly and dirty ,very scruffy and unprofessional.

Good regular CEX store with a lot of space and choice of games/DVDs/Blu-rays inside! Good bargains to be had at any of the Cex's.

They wouldn't replace or refund me for a Nintendo switch game card I brought from another CeX store. I didn?t get to use it until a few days after purchase which was when I realised it was broken and saw that it had marks and dents on it. a complete waste of time and of £35. I?m not the first person to point out the low quality of the used items they resell and probably not the last. I won?t be buying from them again.

This place used to be good. Brought many A second hand device here, traded in CDs, DVDs, etc. Now it's rubish. I went in at a time when it wasn't busy, in fact only two customers in the shop. I saw four staff, most of them walked past me while I stood alone in no queue several times without saying anything. I understand they had one other customer to serve before me & it took two of them about 15mins too not find what he wanted. Eventually one of them said are you being served to me when it was patently obvious that I wasn't.I'd only come in to recycle some older devices, I didn't want anything for them, four old phones & a tablet, full of valuable rare earth minerals. But they were only interested in things they could buy for resale, funny really as they did have a box for old batteries for recycling. So I'd hung about for twenty minutes or so in a virtually empty shop for nothing. I asked the man that eventually served me whether they cared about recycling & saving the planet & he said no. My wife who was with me was considering buying some blue-tooth Ear-Buds which were £42. After the rubbish service & sarcastic comments we got obviously we didn't buy those.Will avoid this shop in the future; plenty of other places you can get refurbished & secondhand devices as good or better than here that can also deliver decent customer service.

I usually pop into CEX when I'm out traveling are sometimes they have stock my local doesn't and I don't have to pay for postage as I would do ordering online but I was left frustrated having to wait at least 10 minutes to be served the guy Behind the Counter was nice and friendly but he looked to be rushing around trying to get every I think done well two other colleagues were out the back chatting to each other refusing to answer to him when he called them my other suggestion would be to have a separate queue for people trading in so people that are buying are not left waiting even longer

I enjoy going there and picking up some cheap games. Stock was quite low last time I went and some of the condition of the discs are not up to standards.

Entered the store and asked the clerk if I could purchase a carrier bag, explaining I was intending to purchase items from the store, but the bag in my hand had ripped.She immediately declined, saying I must purchase something first. Before I had a chance to say anything the four staff members behind the counter bickered about the issue, while I stood there holding my broken bag. They then told me I could purchase one for 20p. Then changed this decision to a no again after.I left. Went a couple doors down. Purchased a carrier bag, no problem. I did not come back, and won't be naturally.It's 2022. Employ nuanced staff to help support their community and the public during a rough time. Definitely do not encourage staff to decline customers intending to use the store, but need a little assistance. The Vicki pollard that served me needs training in humanity, not pre-owned goods.
