We were a large family group for lunch (27), the staff were amazing. Very friendly and efficient and the food was great. The booking and pre ordering process meant we were served quickly and splitting the bill at the end was quite simple. Also there is plenty of parking and a lovely open area.

Always brilliant with high quality service and food. Certainly the best locally - you can understand why booking is essential! Yet to get round to having a breakfast though?.. Thanks to Kath and Adaire in particular for being so welcoming.

Been here many, many times, keep going back because it cannot be beaten, whoever else says they have the "ultimate carvery", THIS IS IT!! Always four choices of beautifully tender meats, including turkey. So many veg they won't all go on the plate, especially if you have a wonderful homemade Yorkshire pudding, no bought-in mixes or frozen food here. Maybe the peas are frozen I suppose! But you really have to book days in advance to avoid severe disappointment. And very little waiting around for your carvery, if any.

My wife and I came for a meal on a rare night where the kids were both at sleepovers. We received a friendly greeting when we arrived and a delicious looking menu to choose from. The food did not disappoint. My wife had a steak and I went for a belly buster burger. Both were fantastic. All of the staff were lovely and made sure we were well looked after. Charlene in particular is a delight. We will definitely be back to try more from the menu. Thank you and see you again soon.

Good food and a great ambience. The creme brulee was superb. Mains were very good size. Service was good as usual. Many thanks for a memorable visit.

The food was wonderful, the staff could not have bettered their social skills and the dining area was warm and very clean indeed. Mrs T enjoyed quiche with all the ?trimmings? and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My diet, always a problem, allowed me just chips and a sandwich. This too, was excellent. To the owner and his staff I will say just this???You will always find people that complain of a draught? Thank you all for making Mrs T and myself welcome , Jeffrey R Timmis

Lots of people early evening. The staff were rushed off their feet. Several items on the menu were unavailable. We waited a very long time for our food to arrive. It did say at the top of the menu that there?s a 45 minute wait as all the food is cooked to order. The portion sizes are very large. I had rump steak which delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband had a beef dish. He said part of it was stone cold. There was no mashed potato left so that was replaced with new potatoes. I think overall there were far too many people in the restaurant and not enough staff.

We booked a table for a large party having two course Sunday lunch. Graham and the team couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and so many vegetables to choose from, there wasn't enough room to fit everything on the plate! The dessert menu has a good choice and everything sounded so nice it was hard to choose one. Everyone in our party commented on how delicious the puddings were.

Food is, as always, excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and always happy to hreet their customers. A real gem of an establishment. We will be back again. (Couldn't upload a pic of my main as I scoffed it too quick, but I had the carvery).

This lovely little pub offers good quality homemade food at a reasonable price. Whilst it may be geared up for breakfast trade for the fishermen for much of the year, out of season we found it to be a perfect place to visit for a relaxed lunch with a warm fire. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed the wide range of menu options for the time of year. We ate quiche and salad, lamb shank, pork with black pudding and a traditional Christmas turkey meal. Make sure that you leave room for the delicious deserts which are generously sized and all home made, including one of the best ever banoffee pies I've ever had.

We attended a 70th birthday party at this gem of a venue, most of us hadn't been before and included children, and some good eaters, we arrived 10 minutes to 12, and were greeted by a warm and friendly team, we were shown to our table, the wood burners gave a lovely ambience, the service was brilliant, and we served drinks, then to a lavish selections of 4 meats, and vegetables that was available from a carvery,we had 1 wanting a veggie option and ii have to say the food was exceptional, hot and clean plates were soon noted. A wide range of popular deserts followed and enjoyed in a similar manner. A big thank you to the team and not forgetting the chef and those in the kitchen who are often forgotten. We will see you again, highly recommended.

Set 4 mies outside of Leominster, the Fisherman's Arms is renowned for its Carvery Lunches and cracking breakfasts. I had the Sunday Carvery and was very impressed with what I had.All four meats, Turkey, Beef, Lamb & Pork, were available to choose from and were accompanied by a wide selection of vegetables. All freshly cooked and of good quality and portion sizes were plentiful. This was all followed by one of the homemade deserts and washed down with a lively coffee. The building itself is quite old and has plenty of character , but this can make it a little tricky for those with mobility issues to get in and out.Booking in advance is also recommended, as it gets very busy at peak times, and it is a bit of a trek to get to and find no table available.Highly recommend the Fisherman's Arms and look forward to visiting again.
