Wonderful place, fantastic landlady, and the quaint village pub atmosphere with open fires to warm you up on a cold winter's day is perfect.Would highly recommend a visit.Parking: Gravel carpark just a short walk from the door. Plenty of overspill if needed.

We have been visiting The Duke of York for about 30 years. It is cosy and welcoming, like being invited into someone's front room and impossible not to share a conversation with others there with you. Joy, Lyn and Harold are relaxed hosts and you will be friends in no time. (see you soon).

Scores on the traditional range but not on the beers. Keg only. This is a lounge pub, friendly. Could do with a cask ale or two.

As always Wetherspoons offer terrific value for money. Where else can you get sirloin steak and a drink for £7.80? My only gripe is that the food is served on cold plates and the steak is lukewarm. The Duke of York is an interesting venue as it used to be Leominster's post office, so you can learn its history during the short time it takes for your meal to arrive.Good for the everyday, perhaps not for the special occasion.

Friendly, cosy and welcoming pub. A very traditional interior which has been little changed for over 100 years. Listed on the national inventory of historic pub interiors.
