Consistently good food and service

Went for the Sunday carvers. The meat was delicious, and perfectly roasted. Vegetables were fresh and crisp. Pretty sure the potatoes were Roasted in duck fat, crunchy, almost caramelized and perfect. Local ciders were lovely. Staff were friendly. Premises was clean and pleasant. Nice area out back for kids and dogs to run around. Plenty of parking. I'd heard plenty of things about English carveries, good and bad, and I'm really glad this was my first experience! Reservations highly recommended!

Fantastic experience with amazing food
Great country pub vibe with some great options on the taps.
Brilliant service despite it being an incredibly busy day. I arrived very late and
the staff were very accommodating and served one of the best meals I've had with some beautifully cooked beef. Portion size was very generous so I didnt make it to the desert menu. I was rather envious watching the deserts being carried out past me.

HBH lunch out with relatives. Great pub, with atmosphere, conveniently half way between Worcester and Hereford, before going down Fromes Hill. Friendly welcome. Good food. Allergies checked with the chef.

Amazing delicious food. The Sunday carvery is the best carvery around. Staff are wonderful and always manage to accommodate us. Highly recommended

Good mains for around the £12 mark. Refreshing to get honest food at that price when so many pubs are charging £20. I'd come back again! ?

First time there recommend by a friend had fish and chips not too busy but good service time (<20mins) from ordering food not to expensive tasted great and would also recommend to others. Nice atmosphere.

First time eating at the Wheatsheaf, and it will not be the last. The food was simply delicious ?. On the menu was steak & ale pie with chips and peas, and on the specials board, there was liver with seasonal veg, mashed potatoes and onion, and bacon gravy. As I did not fancy the chips and peas, I asked if I could have the seasonal veg mashed potatoes with the bacon and onion gravy, and they were more than happy to accommodate my request ? it was absolutely delicious.
My partner had the fish pie and she said it was also delicious ?.
Staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful.

Very obliging, food both for dinner and breakfast was perfect , plenty ,hot and delicious all home made and cooked to perfection at an extremely good price.
