A fantastic find. Unassuming exterior but once the through the door the interiors were buzzing. A step back in time. Fantastic atmosphere, the food was some of the best pub food we've ever had and the service was excellent, so friendly.

Noteworthy details: Food here is phenomenal, and reasonably priced for the quality

Only stopped for a pint very friendly only issue was the desk seats nice for ambiance but scooped and wobbly. Would have loved to stay longer.

Great pub/hotel. Lord Nelson is rumoured to have stayed here hence the wall dedicated to him??. Great selection of food & drink?. Dog friendly ? & a friendly service. I could have spent ages looking at all the pictures & trinkets on the walls.

3 GLORIOUS NIGHTS AND MEALS.
The Wyke was exactly as advertised in both style and integrity. What surpassed expectation was the restaurant service. Courteous and kind, professional and warm( not an easy balance). Kyle, Madeline, and the entire staff..all smiles..all accommodation.. all PRO'S. Thank you WYKEHAM.

Popped in for a late lunch after a meeting. Excellent service and sandwiches. Good beer and the most restful bar in which to sit. Parking, however, is not possible unless you are staying in the hotel. Nearest available street parking is some way off in the direction of the Queen Inn (South, about 8 mins walk)
Walkability: Nearest on street parking, if you are not staying at the hotel, is about 8 mins to the south on foot, near the Queen Inn

A very characterful building and interior, whimsical and enchanting. Fullers have done an excellent job here. Very good range of their beers all in excellent condition. lots to look at on the walls. A real sense of history
. An essential visit when exploring Winchesters pub scene

This is a top pub. So historic stylish, English, a fantastic place with brilliant atmosphere. We had lunch to celebrate my dad's big birthday. The staff could not have been nicer, they helped with secret birthday cake which they brought out for us. The food and wine were delicious, very classy lovely place. Thank you!

Great beer & food, a fantastic pub - the fire is great in the winter too.

Unfortunately the food was very average indeed. I went years ago for a roast and it was pretty good, but this time was a complete waste of money. The cheese & charcuterie sharing platter was extremely expensive for what it was (seriously, do not order this unless you're so well off your don't even care!), and the mains were not enjoyable at all - especially the burgers. Aside from that the pub itself is nice, but they don't let babies or kids under the age of 8 in which is just weird, and ageist, so we had to sit outside overlooking a car park.
